Anniversary Party•Reviewed on September 18, 2021•From McLean, VA
A perfect surprise for my wife on our anniversary! Duncan called me to introduce himself, stayed in contact during the day over text to finalize the surprise, and performed brilliantly. My neighbors were also pleased to have a piper playing in the neighborhood! I would definitely recommend Duncan for future events.

Duncan was very accommodating, respectful, & professional. Following my request submission, he contacted me right away both by email & by phone. On the day of my friend's memorial, he kept in touch to let me know when he would arrive, & he was there & ready in plenty of time to start his performance at the requested time. The weather that day was fairly cold with a breezy wind & spitting rain, but Duncan handled the elements with sincere professionalism & didn't let it affect his performance. He made sure that we were satisfied & our needs were met, & I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Duncan was great to work with and was very accommodating and flexible as we discussed his role at the wedding. Very talented and obviously has a lot of experience. The guests at the wedding were very complimentary, too. I would certainly work with him again if the occasion arises.

Duncan was so courteous and professional to work with. He played for my mother's gravesite service at Arlington National Cemetery and everyone who attended agreed that he added the perfect touch to the service. Although the service date was set well in advance, it was not until the week beforehand that I learned we could have a bagpiper for the service. Duncan responded quickly to my inquiry and is well versed in Arlington's requirements. He was waiting under a nearby tree when we arrived at the graveside - visible, but unobtrusive and set the perfect tone for the end of the service. My mother was surely delighted. Highly recommend!

The bagpipe playing was exactly what my Dad would have loved the most about his funeral. Duncan played perfectly, was respectful of keeping a healthy Social distance & everyone complemented his playing.
My family has requested his service for further family functions.
Coincidentally he had performed this past year on a happier occasion for my uncle surprising his wife @ the school that they both teach at. The entire auditorium of children & school teachers enjoyed his playing.
I recommend every aspect of Duncan’s bagpiping, his ability to adapt to a somber environment for a funeral or a happier anniversary occasion.
Completely perfect. Thank you Duncan

Duncan was sweet, professional, timely and talented. I would highly recommend him to others. I am grateful and blessed that he was still able to accommodate our family in a difficult time for us, and in our country. Thank you, Duncan. ??

Duncan was a delight to work with from the moment we contracted him for our son's wedding (twp weeks before the event!) to the moving processional of "I Can Feel the Love Tonight". He welcomed the guests for about an hour and then the processional. He provided us with a list of his wedding repertoire, asked if there was anything we wanted and then eagerly accepted the challenge of the Lion King song. He worked with the planner and DJ to get the tracking back that was required. I would strongly recommend Duncan to anyone who wants an accomplished piper and little stress.

Wow! Mr Moore is the consummate professional. In spite of historic storms and flooding, he arrived at Arlington National Cemetery early for my parents' funeral on 08 July. He worked with Arlington to meet unexpected challenges and obstacles posed by the Navy Band [limited when he could play - we did not know this ahead of time]. Played beautifully; my dad would be delighted that he tackled "Anchors Aweigh" - certainly not a bagpipe-friendly tune. Family, friends, colleagues and shipmates were very impressed. Thanks very much, Mr Moore.
