As the Official Piper of the Scottish Society of Central Pennsylvania, I participated in the pre-service Sunday School class for many of the parishioners. During the Kirkin' 'o the Tartan service, I led the procession through the Sanctuary and played the Flowers of the Forest to honor departed family and friends. Following the service, I led the Recessional playing Highland Laddie. The service was conducted at the Mechanicsburg Presbyterian Church.Review by Kelly C.

For the fourth consecutive year, I was engaged to play at the annual Memorial Service at the US Penitentiary at Lewisburg for Corrections Workers' Week. I played for a Prelude and then played The Flowers of the Forest after Taps was sounded. This is a very impressive venue in a verdant valley surrounding the prison. Jake engaged me to play at the funeral of a beloved colleague at the impressive Pennsylvania Veterans' Memorial at the Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. I led the procession into the Memorial; played as all the family, friends and mourners sang the National Anthem; and then closed with the Marine Hymn and Amazing Grace.
