Joseph was an excellent part of a dedication ceremony for a cenotaph for a Union soldier who died in the Civil War. He was courteous and his appearance was very professional (and Scottish). The threat of rain during and drenching rain before the event, did not deter him. He spoke with the American Legion Honor Guard to coordinate with their part in the day. I would hire him again and recommend him to others.

Kathleen, It was a real honor to bagpipe for your distant relative. So glad to be part of the event, and have my choice of tunes before and after. I played a variety of Irish and Scottish tunes. Also great to play Taps with the American Legion Honor Guard - I don't get to do that very often! Joe

I hired Joe to play the bagpipes for my mother's funeral. I needed to have a few conversations with Joe regarding timing and music selection. He was so accommodating. He actually attended my mother's funeral mass (his request) and then lead the procession from the church to the cemetery across the street. Joe was kind, compassionate, and an excellent piper! Joe was amazing. Didn't need a lot of direction. He understood right away what we wanted. Very professional and extremely talented. It is rare to find someone with his talent. His rich sound added an extra layer of beauty to our event. If I could rate him higher, I would but it only allows me to go up to a 5. He was just what we were looking for.
