Kevin worked with me extensively to make the music we requested absolutely wonderful. From the beginning, Kevin sent me a demo CD of music he has played for different affairs. He was extremely professional from start and finished. He was a pleasure to work with. Thanks to Kevin for making my daughters wedding something both her and my son-in-law will never forget.

Kevin was a great addition to our wedding. Even before the wedding, he was very responsive to emails and phone calls, and even sent us a disc of songs he plays. He can also play other songs that are not on his list; just ask. For example, we had him play Ode to Joy for our wedding recessional. Kevin was on time, came and checked in with me, and did his surveying of the venue to find the best location to pipe. He did everything I asked for and was very professional. I would use his services again, and would recommend him to anyone in the Baltimore Washington area looking for a bagpiper.

Mr. O'Brien was extremely timely, showing up first when just myself and my wedding party was there and playing after until everyone had left. Mr. O'Brien was very professional in his performance; including attire, song selection, and during the ceremony. I would most definetely hire Mr. O'Brien again. Mr. O'Brien was a pleasure and ease to work with. Mr. O'Brien made himself available to communicate with and discuss my event. He was able to offer me copies of his music for selection and willing to discuss any and all details of my event. If you are looking to hire a pipe performer, I strongly reccommend hiring Mr. Kevin O'Brien.

On October 3rd my "Treasured Irish Aunt" passed.
While walking into the church we heard the music of bag piper "Kevin".
He was so discreet, playing under a crepe myrtle tree and at the cemetery he was comforting too. Hearing the tunes that my Aunt enjoyed was comforting too. My Aunt was so proud of her "Irish heritage". What a "blessing he was to us. Thank you, and God Bless, Kevin O’Brien. Theresa

Kevin was great. We had a big Scottish ceremony and Kevin was a big highlight. His attire and bagpipes were great. All the men wore kilts. He did more than we asked and we were well pleased. Many of our guests commented how great he was. I am sending him some pictures so he can post them on the web. Overall our ceremony had about 170 guests, all Scottish theme, and even a castle built in the gym. We had the arch of swords while Kevin played "Scotland the Brave". It was great. SO YES GO HIRE THIS MAN. I will be hiring him again.

Kevin was amazing! He arrived early and played the whole time! Our Wedding ceremony was down at a lake and we asked that after the service guests follow Kevin up to happy hour. Which was up a steep hill and a long set of stairs. Im not sure how but Kevin played the whole way up to the top! Then during cocktail hour he played! It was amazing. I would highly recommend Kevin for any event.

Kevin was wonderful. He was prompt for his sound check and ready to go from the moment he walked in the door. Kevin truly added a lost element to this annual event. His playing of the bag pipes and shuttle pipes were truly magnificent! He is an incredible talent and we loved having him!

Kevin O'Brien was SPECTACULAR from start to finish. He sent me a cd of his work, shortly after booking, so I could use it to select pieces to be played during our wedding. He was OUTSTANDING at our wedding! He was on time, dressed in complete piper regalia and his playing added JUST the right touch to our Irish-Scottish St. Patrick's Day wedding. I cannot recommend him highly enough, he was THAT GOOD. You will not be disappointed in booking this charming, warm, talented bagpiper!

We decided to surprise our guests at the ceremony with a bagpiper. Kevin O'Brien was absolutely the perfect fit for this part of the wedding! He remained in contact with us, offered us suggestions, and accomodated all of our requests. All of our family and friends were absolutely stunned by him - and many thought that it made the wedding that much more perfect! Maybe more importantly, Jeff and I thought that it contributed to our perfect day! I would recommend him to everyone!

Kevin was terrific. He worked with me to plan a small concert as a surprise for my Dad's 80th. He was very accommodating to last minute changes in time. He entered with the pipes, played a perfect selection of tunes on the small pipes (I think that's the right term), and all were great. It came off even better than I could have hoped. Kevin's talent, professionalism, and warmth made this a really, really special evening. I haven't seen my Dad so toe-tapping happy in ages -- that was a gift for him, and a gift for me.

Booked at the last minute, Kevin arrived early and was playing in the church parking lot, when I arrived for my friends memorial service.
He played in the parking lot for close to 30 minutes, as people arrived. He led the family into the church with Amazing Grace and then quietly slipped out. He was then right there on queue to lead the family out, (going home) and then played in the parking lot as people left. I would happily recommend Kevin and will use him again if I need a piper. A very kind man, who was extremely empathetic of the situation.

Mr. O'Brien proved to be a very professional and talented performer who gave a wonderful performance in honor of my mother's funeral ceremony.. Not only did he give an outstanding performance of my requested songs (Amazing Grace, and Scotland the Brave), he also performed a lovely, and event-suitable selection of music via a most respectful and respected performance.
