Joel was a pleasure to work with for our Dad's memorial. We wanted to keep this as fun and joyful as possible, and he made it that way. Showed up earlier than requested and did some very fun, interesting and most of all entertaining performances vocally and on his pipes. All our guests really enjoyed it and he was friendly and had conversations with many. To finalize our memorial he played a compilation of music at our makeshift site.
Was the best we could ever hope for: It was hot, it was outdoors, it was windy. He didn't stop!
I would recommend him without question.

MarineSandpiper was beyond AWESOME. He learned the songs we requested and was an excellent performer. We hired him for our wedding, A Scottish affair where kilts abounded) and he showed up in his regalia, and piped his heart out. We also had him perform at our reception as a ROCK BAGPIPER. The crowd loved it! I highly recommend him for your event...you will love every minute of it!

He is much more than a traditional piper. Joel is a multi-talented professional who sings, dances and puts on an awesome show.
Our corporate event for about a hundred people was a smash hit, and a lot of credit goes to Joel who played for a solid 2 hours with out a break!

Joel was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He showed up extraordinarily early, impeccably turned out in his traditional piper's garb, was gracious and kind with my guests and our wedding party, and performed seamlessly in my ceremony, which was held in a vastly untraditional venue (it didn't phase him a bit). By the end of my wedding, he truly felt like part of my family. I would highly recommend Joel for any event in which you need a skilled, personable and professional bagpiper.

Joel was fantastic. He was accessible for questions before the party and prompt to respond. We told him the mood we were looking for and left the music selection up to him. It was perfect. He came early, dressed to the hilt, and ready to plan our surprise entry strategy. I felt confident leaving the rest to him. He was great, personable and quick to fit in. Our party guests nearly collapsed the deck dancing to one of his gigs.

Very happy that I decided to go with MarineSandPiper. He is a very talented piper and the epitome of professionalism. He showed up early for the funeral and was very accommodating. He knows the routine from his vast experience and once I explained what I would like, he took it from there. Joel is kind, compassionate, professional, and a former Marine. He is an extremely talented bagpiper. He possesses a vast repertoire and can play for any occasion, such as weddings, funerals, and Military functions. I assure you whatever occasion you need him for, he can do it. He has a variety of dress. In his photo, he is wearing his Military dress. He can also wear the traditional Scottish Kilt. He is the model of a squared away Marine. Joel has unbelievable endurance, plays in perfect pitch, and with a passion that even amongst the strongest of Scotsmen, you will not find a dry eye. I highly recommend that you hire him.
