Kim is a wonderful person and very talented and professional musician! We had the pleasure of meeting her in her home beforehand to hear her play and it made the experience even more personable because we already knew her when it came time for the big day. She looked and sounded perfect. We would highly recommend Kim for any occasion. She is amazing!!!

I couldn't be happier with the amazing job Kim did for my sisters wedding. Even when rain changed the setting of the ceremony she went above and beyond and did an incredible job. We managed to keep her performance a surprise unitl she came out and brought most of the crowd to tears just in time for the bride to walk down the isle. We can't sing her praises enough, I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Kim was really wonderful! My daughter and I actually got to go to her home and hear her play before the wedding, making us both cry. At the wedding, things were so rushed, I didn't get the chance to tell Kim how special her being there was for us and to thank her! Kim's performance was flawless; she is a skilled and very professional piper. I was so pleased (and proud) that we had surprised our guests when Kim came up the stairs to stand in front of the altar to pipe my daughter up the aisle. Growing up Scottish, every time I hear the bagpipes, I get a little swell in my heart. Kim made it all the more special, and I am so grateful we hired her!

Kim Johnson truly professional throughout the process from initial booking and thru to an outstanding performance! Our memorial service was in restaurant and she called ahead, visited venue and then outlined a plan that worked. Guests were surprised with regular bagpipes as they entered & then Kim skillfully transitioned to the 'softpipes' as she gracefully piped, mingling amongst the celebrants. Guests were curious and excited at the same time and the performance was truly the highlight of the memorial wake for our beloved brother. Well done, Kim, keep up the good work!

I appreciated Kim's contribution to my family's memorial for our step-mother this past weekend. It was very comfortable to work out the details with her at a distance and her bagpiping added so much to the occasion. I would highly recommend Kim for any event - joyous or somber.

Kim Johnson was wonderful. Everyone commented on how beautiful and moving were the bagpipes addition to my mother's memorial service, Kim was very professional, and is very talented. Ms. Johnson made my mother's memorial very memoriable. She arrived ahead of schedule so she could be ready when the guests arrived. She was very professional and plays the pipes beautifully. She played all the songs on the list that we had discussed and just knew what to play between the songs that we requested. Kim was totally professional and still funny and charming. The funeral was at the cemetery and just as she was to begin play, the heavens let loose with driving rain, thunder and lightening. We all huddled under the tent. When it let up, Kim walked a little ways away and began playing. She was very easy to work with in choosing pieces to play. She joined us under the tent for the service. We were very cramped because it was still drizzling. And at the end of the service she again walked a little way away and began playing. She is very attractive, very professional and you can tell she loves to play. I would highly recommend her to anyone for any occasion.

Kim was exceptionally patient with my concerns and questions, since this was piping at the memorial service for my father. My daughter had some idea what kind of songs she wanted played, and Kim was very kind in giving her respectful suggestions on the songs she could play in remembrance of her Grandfather. When Kim arrived at the Church I was very impressed with her fantastic and professional appearance. When not piping, she would graciously speak to the little ones and old ones alike who were in awe of her appearance and her bagpipe. I would not hesitate for one moment to hire Michigan Bagpiper for any occasion!
