Sheldon was absolutely terrific! He was prompt, courteous, witty, charming and engaging. The guests at the party were completely enrapt by Sheldon's performance. The range of selections he played was fantastic and his anecdotes about the instrument were totally enjoyable. My father, who is Scottish, had tears of joy in his eyes from Sheldon's performance, and my dad does not cry easily. I would highly recommend Sheldon. He was the highlight of my dad's 80th birthday party.

Pipe Major Hamblin was excellent. He arrived right on time and dressed very professionally. Before each song, he gave a little history of the song. We especially liked this. I would definitely recommend him to others!! He made the party!

We hired Mr. Hamblin to play before and after the church ceremony. He was on time arriving, and he played a song that we had requested. We sent him the sheet music for it, and as I exited the church he played it perfectly. We were extremely pleased with his performance and if opportunity arose, would hire him again in a second.

I hired Pipe Major Sheldon C. Hamblin to play at my wife's 50th birthday party held at The Beechwood Hotel in Worcester, MA. She loves the bagpipes and is interested in her Scottish heritage. Her family and close friends were in attendance. Everyone was so impressed by his knowledge of the bagpipes, and how he presented it in such an interesting and thoroughly enjoyable way. He was dressed in full Classic Scottish Piper attire. It made for a very classy affair. I couldn't have been more pleased!

Sheldon played wonderfully, even though the rain poured down and he had a challenging situation on/near the beach! He was professional, courteous and very accommodating in our song choices and timing requests. I Found Sheldon Hamblin to be very personable & he was willing to walk(without complaint) a piece down a dirt road when we ran out of parking spaces.I just would have prefered that he could have played more tunes we might have recognized. My parents said that they would have liked to have heard more "lively tunes iunstead of the slower,sadder ones" he chose to play. All in all, his performance made my parents' 60th wedding anniversary a most memorable one!!
