WeddingReviewed on November 20, 2018From Laporte, CO

Randy was awesome from start to finish. He was a pleasure to work with, funny, talented, knowledgeable, and willing to go with the flow. We initially met with Randy at a restaurant, and right off the bat, knew he was going to be a good fit. He communicated well over the following months, his text response times were always spot on. He didn't disappoint us one bit. I could, and would, listen to his bag piping all day long, and would highly recommend him for any event! So grateful I stumbled upon your website, he completed our ceremony.

Memorial ServiceReviewed on October 14, 2018From Colorado Springs, CO

Arrived early enough to prepare for our memorial service and followed the cues from the lectern perfectly. Could not have done a better job.

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on September 27, 2018From Colorado Springs, CO

Randy is amazing! He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He has helpful suggestions for pipe selections and advice on dealing with all the random details you may not think about. He is very professional, arrives early and stays as needed. He was very patient even though we were running late with the ceremony, and even agreed to give us a grand entrance for the reception- which we didn't end up doing since it was inside and would have been too loud. So he even does sound checks. I cannot say enough good things about him. If you are having a wedding at Garden of the Gods (or anywhere else), and love bagpipes, hire this man.

FuneralReviewed on February 14, 2018From Denver, CO

Randy played for a duration of my Dad's funeral as well as the intro and exit of the service. He was kinda and attentive to details, providing suggestions for the event that were very helpful. His musical talent was excellent and I would hire him again for events in the future.

FuneralReviewed on August 12, 2017From Littleton, CO

Randy was an outstanding addition to my Grandmother's funeral service. His playing is superb, and he is a kind and wonderful man. We had some strange requests, and he met them all with a smile and kind understanding. He was spectacular in his communication prior, during and after booking him, and throughout the service. We were very, very honored to have him play for us, and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a top notch Piper who is kind and extremely talented! Thank you, Randy..... For helping us to give my Grandmother the proper Scottish tribute!

Private PartyReviewed on July 16, 2017From Denver, CO

Randy played for my son's Eagle Scout ceremony. He was to play for the entrance of the flags, and at the end of the ceremony for the retreat. Randy was there in plenty of time before the ceremony and that was greatly appreciated. He participated in the briefing by the Scout Master. He did a fine job for the entrance, but at the conclusion of the event and the retirement of the flags, he was no where to be found. He had left.

:

Donna, I apologize for any misunderstanding. You and I did discuss my role prior to the Eagle Scout ceremony on July 15, 2017. It was my understanding, and you concurred that I was to lead the color guard into and out of the event space at the beginning of the ceremony and that I would not play at the end of the ceremony. If you had made your expectations clearer I would have been present to play at the conclusion of the ceremony. I feel that I fulfilled my obligation to you and regret that your expectations were not meet.

Birthday Party (Adult)Reviewed on October 25, 2016From Englewood, CO

Randy was very friendly and went the extra mile both on the night of the performance and the second day when he had to return to pick up a check from me from a different account. Not only was he a very good bagpiper, but he took the time to explain his clothing, which was unique in itself. I would definitely recommend Randy to anyone interested in hiring a bagpiper for a special event.

FundraiserReviewed on September 14, 2016From Frisco, CO

Randy was amazing and totally up for the challenge we gave him! We had him play at 9000ft in altitude in the Mountains of Colorado while riding in a Golf Cart during a charity golf tournament. He even was walking the course and the greens to help our game by distracting the other's! He was great and made our day even better!!!!

Memorial ServiceReviewed on July 20, 2016From Gunnison, CO

Randy drove all the way from Denver to our family cabin outside of Gunnison for my father-in-law' so memorial service. Despite rain and hail coming through 30 minutes before the scheduled outside service, Randy performed quite well in not so great conditions and did so at a reasonable price. He helped make the service everything we hoped it could be.

Memorial ServiceReviewed on May 31, 2016From Crested Butte, CO

Randy exceeded my expectations. It was an outdoor venue. I gave Randy only general instructions of what was needed. On the morning it was exceptional. Where he chose to place himself and the timing of the start and end of the pipes was perfect. All were moved. We were in the mountains and when Randy started playing a bull elk bugled back numerous times; very moving during our memorial service to my father. Highly recommend.

WeddingReviewed on November 15, 2015From Idledale, CO

Randy was so easy to communicate and work with. He had great insight about how the typical wedding procession flows, and that helped take the planning responsibility out of our hands! He was also very open to our zany ideas and was easy going and went with the flow. His bagpipe skills are excellent and, per his suggestion, he wore an outfit that matched our ceremony perfectly. Highly recommend!

WeddingReviewed on October 5, 2013From Colorado Springs, CO

Randy was very accomodating, but at the same time was a bit abrupt. When we mentioned the ring bearer and flower girl we're walking out together he says "don't count on that." Other than that, he did a great job.
