Mr. Akins was very good at responding to my requests in a prompt manner; he communicated with me regularly, beginning 8 months before our event. He worked with us to meet our needs. We’d recommend Tim without reservation.

A surprise engagement was arranged in Saint Augustine Florida. We had a group at the event but our goal was to walk in a procession from an outdoor promenade to travel a few blocks down St George Street to Scarlett O'Hara's. As I am the mother of the bride, I was trying to dream up how to include something special for the event. Music! Sounds of a bagpiper was the bright idea. Tim Atkins, he was flexible with evolving plan and 6hr time difference. Tim's performance was exceptional and 'soulful'. The performance was a great surprise for our party and everyone in earshot of us. Wonderful music, the crowds parted & our celebration went to another level of love.

Tim is absolutely amazing & talented. He played bag pipes for our wedding and everyone raved over it. He is super easy going & has a ton of experience so he is very comfortable being thrown into the mix. I highly recommend him for music and can’t wait to see all the photos where he is in traditional bag piper clothing. This was a true magic touch to the wedding & he is so great!

Tim was amazing! He played the bagpipes, marched in a short parade and came dressed in full Scottish wear. Then, he played and sang for us for the rest of the event. I highly recommend him for any event!

My husband and I were completely thrilled with Tim at our Birthday bash. Our guests had a marvelous time and enjoyed being greeted by Tim and his pipes! We all had goose bumps when he ended his performance with AMAZING GRACE Followed by Happy Birthday. Can't wait to hear him perform again.

Tim was there on time. The wedding planner didn’t explain that we wanted to lead the guests out first and he led the bride and groom out. We wanted him to play a song with the band but he wasn’t told that either. Not his fault but I wish he played longer

Janice, I enjoyed piping for the party and wanted to thank you for the $25 tip. It wasn’t necessary but greatly appreciated. I’m sorry for any miscommunication. Just to clarify, I did arrive 45 minutes prior to the end of the reception. Without rehearsal, or tuning to the band, prior to the reception 3 hours earlier, it would have been impossible for the band to join me on the song I played as a solo before I piped for the mass exit. I did play until the very last shuttle left and offered to drive to the after party and pipe there too. Planner checked with father of the bride and I was told I was finished. Tim played so beautifully at our aon’s Wedding reception. All the guests enjoyed his music. Tim is very easy to deal with, and responds promptly to email and phone calls. I highly recommend having him pipe at your event. It is a unique experience that you will never forget!

Tim Akins arrived early and stayed pass the conclusion of our event. We found Tim to be extremaly talented, cooperative and eager to please. Tim's performance was a major part of our event and enjoyed by everyone who attended and graded as awesome. He added a very special atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Tim Akins to anyone seeking a professionnal. I actually could have hired someone closer to Hilton Head Island but I am so pleased I hired Tim.
