I guess my biggest issues was the communication issue between us. Booked with one person, emailed by another and called by someone else so I wasn’t confident that I was dealing with the same company or pawned off on someone else .. I was finally assured the other callers were other members of the band ( father/son etc) but happy overall after weeks of confusion was over.

I don't understand why the client should be confused. From the first conversation with the client, I booked the job for my partner in our compnany... my son Jesse. He called the client before the gig to discuss details. He showed up early and did a great professional job. I don't understand the reason for concern. winston the islandlboys

Winston and his drummer were great for our caribbean party! We are a 55+ community but had guests of all ages which ALL enjoyed their music. Wide variety and they seemed to be able to judge when to change the tempo to keep guests up and dancing. It was also great that Winston went back and forth from the Steel Drums to the keyboard ..it added more depth to the music and didn't hurt anyones ears. Vocals were also great! Our residents are already asking to have them back again and it was just last night!

I hired the Island Boys (very last minute) for my husband's 42 birthday party. Winston (The Island Boys) was early to the gig, played the genre of music I asked for, and was open to song requests. Winston was great! We hired him as a "one-man-band" for our restaurant's birthday party and he did a wonderful job. He even adjusted the volume of play depending on how many people were in the restaurant at a given time. He arrived an hour and a half early and kept our guests entertained and happy. What more could we ask for? Would definitely hire him again!

We hired the Island Boys for our wedding at the Sandbar on June 25th. Winston and Steve were setup and ready to go at 5pm and played till almost 930 as requested. They did a fantastic job and helped bring the Caribbean to our beach wedding. Would highly recommend. Dave & Carrie

Music was awesome people really enjoyed it. Easy guys to work with, I appreciate their laid back vibe, since so many musicians are such a pain in the backside. My only issue (not a complaint) I was expecting two steel drummers as a duo, instead it was 1 steel drummer and a drum set. It was totally fine, it just took me by surprise day of show.

I hired Winston for our nursing facilities annual summer luau. He did an amazing job and we still have family and residents talking about his performance. He showed up early to set up his set and was very professional. He even talked about the steel drums and explained how they worked and walked around so the residents could see the drum. I would recommend him for anyone's event and we look forward to having him back for next years event!

Winston and Jesse were booked to play from 2-5:30 PM for my husband's 80th birthday party. They arrived at 1PM to set up and once set up they began to play. except for the contracted breaks they played up until 5:30 at no extra charge. They were great! I had told them my husband was a Frank Sinatra fan, suggested a few songs, and they downloaded them and during one break we were listening to "Frankie". They happily announced that food was ready, and later with the cake they led us in singing Happy Birthday. I recommend them very highly.
