Doc Holliday band was perfect. Played everything we wanted at a volume that worked for each location of our wedding and luncheon. They sounded great and were able to change a couple things on the fly when we needed it.
Old school jazz and perfect for a New Orleans wedding!

In the beginning of planning the wedding, we wanted a New Orleans feel to the ceremony.
The question became, how do we get the New Orleans feel we want in North Louisiana ?
Johnny Hollier brought us the New Orleans feel with his very professional and talented performance on his trumpet.
The night was topped off by a Second Line exit. Johnny brought that New Orleans sound that we all love to hear. You know how to get the party going and the second line finish was an awesomely fun finish! Thank you for traveling to play on our wedding night. You and your music made the entire experience even more special and memorable! Thanks Johnny!

The Doc Holliday Big Band is just great. They are pro's, all top musicians. They were the perfect entertainment for our event. The crowd loved them and we got lots of compliments. They also have a very handsome saxophone player :D

They played for the 100th Birthday Party for my Father-in-Law. Every request we had was met and they exceeded every expectation! The venue we had was small and they were able to downsize the number of pieces without compromising the fantastic Big Band Sound! They were very professional looking and the music was PERFECT! I highly recommend The Doc Holliday Big Band & Orchestra for the great Big Band Music!

The Doc Holliday Band is wonderful and exactly what we were hoping for plus some!!! EVERYONE commented how terrific the music was and we're still receiving compliments. "Delightfully surprised!" Rectory staff was enjoying the music while they worked and secretary "started dancing when they played The Saints Go Marching In". Brother-in-law shared how they reminded him of the band on the Titanic...they just kept playing! (And yes, they were supposed to take breaks) Not only was the music great, but even better, the members were personable and connected with our family and friends. We are already talking about how we can find an event to hire them again. Thank You!!!

5 stars all around. This band did our ceremony music, social hour jazz combo music, and the full band reception music--it was all amazing! My wife and I were very pleased- as were the guests. Great job guys!! We'll call you for our next party!

They are an amazing group! You cannot go wrong with the DH band! They go above and beyond for you. I was expecting a 8-9 out of 10 performance, but after our wedding, it's 12 out of 10 star rating.

Dr Johnny Hollier was a pleasure to work with and very accommodating. The band was required to do significant travel to get to the event and got there on time and was set up to play prior to getting my 90 year old dad to his surprise birthday party. He thoroughly enjoyed the music and commented numerous times after the party how good the band was! I agree! Special requests were welcomed. If you like big band music, you will like the Doc. Holliday Band!

This band was AWESOME!!! Our guest are still raving about them. They were on time, very professional. There music was exactly what we had ordered. I hope that they will post pictures of that night. Everyone was transformed back in time to days of the Big Band Era. I highly recommend this band to anyone for any event. Thanks everyone you were great.
