The Buzzard Mountain Boys were amazing! They played the ceremony and cocktail hour for my wedding. Jim Bob was very easy to work with prior to the wedding via email. He gave suggestions for the ceremony music that I absolutely loved! They showed up a few hours early to warm up so I was able to listen to bluegrass while getting ready for my wedding! Everyone really seemed to enjoy their music and entertainment during the cocktail hour. They had to play in a tight space for the cocktail hour due to cold rainy weather and I appreciate them so much for adapting to that situation. They definitely helped make our wedding day even that much more special. Thanks guys!

I hired the Buzzard Mountain Boys to play during the cocktail hour at my sisters wedding. We could not have been more impressed by their talent and presence at the wedding. It was truly the perfect start to the evening, and folks could not get enough! While we are from Georgia, the groom and his family/friends are from Boston. I was beyond happy to see that even the northern folks were totally enthralled by the Buzzard Mountain Boys. At the end of he day, I can't say enough great things about this group. 2 thumbs up and 5 stars all the way!!!!

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. They were more than accommodating for every and any request I had. The band wanted to make my day special so they practiced and sang a song for me that they have never played just to make me happy (mind you, the request was made 4 days before the wedding). The band was courteous and sweet to all the guests and well mannered. I cannot tell you how many times I heard, 'yes ma'am' and 'thank you, sir'. You just don't find humble men like that anymore. And the music, WOW! They are truly talented. Compliments overflowed from the guests. They made the entire experience the most enjoyed event of the year!

The Buzzard Mountain Boys were gracious entertainers at our recent church-wide event, which included all ages. They provided a fun-filled concert, engaged the congregation, and brought laughter with their wonderful sense of humor and great music. They are very fine musicians and entertainers.

The Buzzard Mountain boys played for our rehearsal dinner and were fantastic! Our guests are still raving a month later about how much fun they had and how great the music was! The guys were incredibly professional and a blast to work with; very easy going and accomodating with a great repretoire of music and an awesome sense of humor. We would strongly recommend them to any of our friends and hope to hire them again next time we have another big gathering :)

Buzzard Mountain Boys performed the ceremony music at my outdoor fall wedding. They were absolutely wonderful, and I have gotten nothing but rave review from my guests. They played a combination of bluegrass and traditional wedding music and could not have done a better job creating the atmosphere I was looking for. They were extremely responsive to emails and flexible with everything. I would highly recommend them for a wedding or any other event!

With just 3 days' notice before our family's big annual BBQ at the Shak, Jim Bob & Joe Bob clipped up their overall straps, tuned their instruments & had us all a clappin', singin' & a grinnin'. They played family favorites: Yep, the Circle will be Unbroken! They had Nanny a reminiscin', & even brought MeMaw to tears of thanks with a fitting song: "Distance to Roam." It vividly reminded her of when her son roamed overseas on behalf of Uncle Sam; after all, it was Memorial Day wkend. Yep, today we sing: "we love the time we spent with you, to share a song and a laugh or two, may your treasures be many, your troubles be few....Buzzard Mountain Boys, we thank you!"

I absolutely recommend the Buzzard Mountain Boys for wedding music or any other event. They were extremely professional, extremely personable, and they play great music. I couldn't have asked for more. They clearly communicated all needs and expectations and responded promptly to emails. They showed up early for the event fully prepared and fulfilled every part of the quoted contract and more. They even worked up a song specifically per our request and did marvelously. We got many comments about how great the music was, and we had a great time.

These guys were great! We had them play during lunch at a "country" themed event for our customers. Our guests loved the music and the humor. They even wrote a custom jingle for our company, huge hit! We would most certainly hire them again.

As father of the bride, my only disappointment was not being able to hang around and listen due to too many pictures. :) These guys are awesome to deal with and give you a good taste "southern hospitality" for us yankees! If you are looking for some good southern fun, book these guys fast!!

The Buzzard Mountain Boys were terrific! Due to weather and traffic delays, we didn't have much time to talk through onsite challenges but they were very accommodating. They adapted well with a last minute request to move from the courtyard outside into the ballroom during their break. The guys were a real pleasure to work with and sounded wonderful. I look forward to booking them again and enjoying their music!
