Nobody From Nashville is a collective of some of the finest Bay Area Bluegrass and Americana Musicians.  Covering styles from traditional bluegrass to classics by Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, and Dwight Yokum.  Toss lightly with some Dylan, Byrds, Olde Crowe Medicine Show, The Dead and you've got a great band.

Our reviews say it all.  From weddings, wine tastings, corporate events, birthday parties, we will work with you to put together a band for all your needs.  The core players are Guitar, Bass, Banjo, Dobro, Fiddle, we can add or subtract to fit your needs.  We have our own sound system and are plug us in we play!


Ian + band were absolutely incredible and Ian was extremely easy to communicate with! We booked them for our wedding reception and received so many compliments on how amazing and fun the music was! The energy was truly on a whole new level. Ian helped me coordinate with a difficult venue and ensured the approvals were taken care of so I could focus on other parts of the wedding planning. His kindness and leadership was so helpful and I appreciated him going the extra mile to ensure we were taken care of. At the end of the reception, they unexpectedly were able to play a song that we requested as an encore and is very dear to my family. We danced the night away! 

We decided to book the band for our wedding based upon a friend having seen them at a wedding 11 years ago, and were we lucky she remembered them, Ian, was beyond easy to work with.  He made a 150 mile round trip to meet us at the venue (county park in Felton)  for a pre site inspection. Offered to provide additional equipment at no additional cost, sound system for our officiant, and wireless mic for the toasts. Our guests loved the vibe of the band, but most of all they worked up two special requests for our first dance and our parents dance.  They even played processional and recessional music for our actual ceremony.

Great band and easy to work with!  Highly recommend them.

This band made our wedding cocktail hour so amazing! Many different people told me how much they loved the band. Their music is exactly what we love in a bluegrass band- great harmonies and classic sound. It was definitely one of the big highlights of the night having them perform. I would recommend them for any event!

In one word, Nobody from Nashville was "AWESOME". Very professional and talented. Nothing but positive feedback from the group of 50 plus in attendance. They are definitely on our list for future gigs. Thanks again Guys!!
