Nice guy, but the sketches didnt capture the people quite as well as hoped.

I'm sorry you didn't feel the sketches didn't capture the people. That being said, I didn't hear anything but compliments from you and your guests at your event, specifically the mother with the child with special needs. The only issues that I had was when I was drawing someone and they left halfway through the drawing and I needed to work from memory.

Rich was extremely accommodating for our event. He was professional and the customers enjoyed his services. My only concern was I felt the caricatures looked very similar between individuals.

Thank you for taking the time to submit a review, however I was concerned with your ratings. You stated that I was 'extremely accommodating', 'professional, and 'the customers enjoyed his services', yet the ratings do not reflect that. As for your concern that the caricatures looked similar, it may be that my style is similar in all the caricatures. I actually do make it a point that while my style is the same throughout, that the caricatures I draw do not all look the same. At the end of the event, you and your coworker seemed very satisfied with how the event turned out, and I have to say I was disappointed to see this response.

I highly recommend Rick Welch. He was prompt and showed up exactly when he said he would. He was very personable with everyone he drew. He is very talented and his caricatures were great! I do not have one negative to mention. Working with Rick Welch was a very easy and enjoyable experience.
