We hired Steve for our wedding, and he was absolutely phenomenal!! Our guests LOVED his art & how easy he was to chat with. In his caricatures, he did a great job of exaggerating people’s features without making them look silly (which is quite the talent!!). He was on time and a great communicator. We cannot recommend Steve enough.

Steve was incredible at our corporate event on Argosy Cruises! We had nearly 100 people onboard, and everyone absolutely loved having their caricatures drawn. Steve has a natural way of making people smile and laugh. When I was first considering entertainment options, I wasn’t sure if a caricature artist would be enough for a group of this size—but I couldn’t have been more wrong. There was a steady line of people waiting to be drawn. Steve kept things moving smoothly while still giving each person a great experience. He captured everyone’s essence perfectly. People were so impressed with his drawings. Lots of fun and laughter! Book Steve you won’t be disappointed!

Steve was a delight to work with. He arrived 30 minutes ahead of schedule to make sure he was there on time and set up. Our guests were thrilled with their caricatures and had a great time interacting with Steve. His warm presence put folks at ease and his artistry really lifted our birthday party experience. Steve Hartley was a hit at our wedding! A caricature artist was a unique option and his reputation as being able to sketch 50 caricatures an hour rang true. So consider this when determining number of hours to book him for & price. I am glad my groom and I were able to get one done and he did ours in color, which was sweet, while guests were done in black and white. For a small fee he added a wedding personalization which made a great favor! And he was able to fit multiple people in a caricature. The only downside was he was not very responsive at the beginning, but when I voiced this concern he made sure to be more timely in our messages. Definitely recommend him!

Everything was fantastic. Steve arrived early, had everything he needed and was ready to delight my team. He was funny and personable and made everyone laugh while they were being drawn. His speed and skill meant that not only was it fun to watch while waiting for turns, but no one had to wait long at all!
Everyone at our event was elated with his work and his personality. His services made me look great to my leadership and made our event memorable and to be bragged about between regional offices.
We will absolutely book Steve again for future events, both corporate and personal.

WOW Steve was amazing, very fast and friendly. I know it can be annoying sometimes dealing with adults that are drinking, loud music at a party, but he did it. It went well I would recommend him to everyone. Thank you Steve!

Hiring Steve for my wedding this past Saturday was one of the best decisions I made during my planning process. I was unsure whether having a caricaturist was too carnival-like for our big day, but after seeing how how many people opted for a caricature, I quickly realized I made a great call. Steve was timely, professional, and overall, just wonderful! People not only raved about his talent in sketching, but also commented on what a happy demeanor he had the whole time - always smiling and having fun! You can tell he truly loves what he does.
