This is the second time I have hired Jerry to play bagpipes for an event. The first time was a surprise for my then boyfriend's birthday (which was a great success!) And this time was as a surprise for my now husband at our wedding reception, at the Central Park Boathouse. Not only is Jerry incredibly talented, he was professional and very thoughtful considering the importance of this event. He was very flexible in terms of timing (it had to be the right moment!) and was very gracious in his entrance, performance, and exit. The performance was a magical moment at our wedding that our guests are still raving about. We are thrilled Jerry could be a part of the day!

We were in need of hiring a bagpiper for an eclectic Memorial Service to be held in a bar / lounge in Manhattan's LES. In conversation with Jerry about the event, it was apparent that he was a seasoned professional. I immediately knew we were in good hands. Jerry was also more than happy to accommodate a special song request, which he basically learned at the last minute. Jerry was amazing, his communication was perfect and his talent exceptional. We hired him to surprise my Scottish mother in Madison park, he played by the statue and walked (an amazing sound and sight) us to our car while playing. Amazing experience, highly recommend him. His attire was also outstanding.

WE ARE SO HAPPY WITH OUR BAGPIPER, MR. JERRY DIXON! Mr. Dixon came to the wedding ceremony about an hour earlier than the start to practice with our church organist. He made sure the music, a Scottish piece, was played perfectly! He was dressed in his impressive Fraternal Order of Police Kilt, and made quite an impression on our guests. He played outside of the church to entertain arriving guests, then again when the bride entered the Procession, and also to pipe out our newly married son & daughter in law. He also played outside of the church after the wedding. Mr. Dixon made our day very special! Highly recommend him for your wedding! A true professional!

I was very pleased with how NYC Piper played, he had some good ideas and even suggested playing as my mothers hearse arrived at the Church instead of just when she was leaving. I will recommend him anytime I know someone needs a piper. Thank you
