Once again, I had the pleasure of witnessing Dana Starkell mesmerize an audience with his classical guitar skills. His professional dress and demeanor contributed to this very successful concert.

Miss Muscatine Pageant had a great new twist this year with the performance of Dana Starkell. Not only did Dana entertain with his wonderful classic flair and as always wowed the audience with subtle and yet passionate playing of the guitar, but also intertwined the actual presenting of the contestants with his beautiful music. With signals from the director, Dana took his cues and played his wonderful, live music while the contestants were presented in evening gowns and such. What a perfect combination of eye and ear candy. What a treat and how appreciative was and are the audience to the delicate combination of two beautiful forms of living art.

Dana was very accommodating and willing to work with us. It was a pleasure to have him share his exceptional talent with our Church for our program. I would definitely recommend him as a performer and a professional to others. I would also not hesitate to use him again should we need the services of a guitarist.

I recently had the privilege of attending a Dana Starkell concert. Dana was very professional in his timeliness, appearance, sound level, and interaction with the audience. His skills and repertoire as a classical guitarist are astounding. He also possesses an unusual ability and willingness to share his deep knowledge of the music which he plays so well, thereby inspiring his audiences to hear and learn more about the classical guitar.

Dana is a great guitar player. Overall the music at our ceremony was beautiful. There was only a couple things that didn't go as I had wished - The "Ave Maria" hmm was not played during the time I had requested (and if it was, it sounded nothing like it) and during the procession of our ceremony the music did not start playing until we almost stepped out of the church. I also I wished he would have taken the time to make it to rehearsal. However, I believe he performed beautifully overall. He was very friendly and the guests complimented his music.
