David Gabriel Smith has been a guitarist for 14 years and has studied classical guitar for nearly 10 years now. Music has always been his passion for him even as a child. Today, David not only performs music, but he writes and teaches music as well. He has gained notoriety by his performances in Boone, NC at the Watauga County Arts Council and the Harvest House. In 2013, David was a finalist in Appalachian State University's prestigious Concerto/Aria Competition where he received his Masters in Music Performance. He is currently the music instructor at Caldwell Community College and adjunct faculty at Emory & Henry College in Virginia. Through the community's generous support David has been promoted locally through Television, Internet and Radio.
