This is the first time we contracted Star String Quartet for an auto rive awards gala reception. They are outstanding musicians, very professional and accommodating I recommend highly recommend them and plan to have them play for our event again next year.

Star String Quartet was our wonderful featured music of our highly successful Viva La Vino fundraising event for the Rotary Club of Troy held at the San Marino Club. They were gracious and accommodating for all our needs of the event. We received numerous compliments from many guests that The Star String Quartet music was perfect! Our guests enjoyed the delightful ambiance of their music while they sampled our wine selections and bid on auction items. They were an excellent feature and aided in the success of Viva La Vino, the largest fundraiser in decade for Troy Rotary. I would highly recommend Star String Quartet as featured music for any social event.

These guys we're amazing and made our wedding so special! All the guests just loved them (as did we). The music they played was so beautiful. They were detail oriented, reliable, talented and so friendly.
I am also a musician, so I was really particular about our quartet and these guys nailed it! Such a pleasant experience!

They played our wedding ceremony and reception. Their music during the ceremony was exceptional and their timing was great. I cannot speak for their performance during the reception as I was either not present (cocktail hour) or distracted (dinner), but our guests raved about their contemporary selections during cocktail hour and the ambiance they produced during dinner.
I was concerned how I would manage them, I guess I am a bit of a control freak, as to timing and music selection, but they took care of everything. They also learned new sheet music a week beforehand for our first dance, for which I am grateful. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

The quartet was very late and put the whole ceremony on edge and I was not sure if they were even going to show up?. I would like a total refund but i do not know how to do it. This quartet had no time to adjust or warm up it was totally not professional. Hector says he has personal problems well that is not our problem. I got back part of my fee but I would like it all back. I am disappointed in gig masters, too.

The Star String Quartet was extraordinarily perfect for my daughter's wedding on Belle Isle on August 26! They are talented and professional, offering a large repertoire of pieces that they perform with style. They were flexible and agreeable regarding our family's preferences for musical pieces. It was easy to reach them by email to coordinate the event. Most importantly, they played absolutely beautifully as we gathered on the lawn at the Conservatory, during the wedding itself, and following the ceremony as guests dispersed. It was a lovely day, made even more beautiful by the wonderful Star String Quartet! I recommend them very highly and would hire them again!

This was amazing. These guys not only were professional but beyond accommodating. I had to change times 5 times, and then change venues twice, all within the last couple of days. My finance loved it, they played beautifully, and were super friendly. I asked them for a couple of special things that were not included originally, and they were happy to do it. I can not even begin to say how great they were. We loved them so much we are going to use them for our wedding! Thanks Hektor!
