James was absolutely professional from beginning to end for our anniversary gig. When we had to make an unexpected change in the placement of the piano, he quickly adapted and set up the equipment for our sing along with no fuss. Throughout the party the guests commented on how beautifully he played. He began with ambient music, covering a wide range of tastes, while the guests had cocktails and dinner, then switched to a sing along per my request. He brought his own projector to project the words so the guests would easily be able to follow along. James really made our party memorable and fun. Now I want to throw another party just to have him come play for us!

James did an amazing job for us on Thanksgiving. Our family can be loud and unruly at times and he dealt with it great. I received phone calls the next morning where everyone was raving about James! He made himself part f the family with his performance. I not NOT hesitate one minute to hire James again for any occasion. He has great energy.

James Lent was a joy to work with and a pleasure to listen to. He arrived with plenty of time to spare and asked us what we wanted to hear, if there were any guests who wanted to sing, and just the overall theme of the event. This was an engagement party and the range of tastes went from classical music to modern music. James played that whole range, and the guests were blown away. Everyone asked me where I found such a fantastic pianist. I would definitely use James again for any party that I hosted. He really adds a very elegant feel to the atmosphere of the party. He is great, and really nice!!!

James is an amazing musician and it was our honor to have him play at our wedding. Based on his music and the great reviews that have been provided for James, we decided to have him play at both our ceremony, as well as our reception. We also asked James to recommend three other string players for the ceremony portion. He not only recommended excellent string players, he also helped select wonderful music for the wedding. Our officiant and many of our guests mentioned that they have never heard music like this at any wedding. James has exceeded our expectations and given us the perfect atmosphere for our wedding. In planning our Commitment Ceremony, we knew we needed to hire a musician (our fave had another commitment). So we Googled, got GigMasters, and James Lent. He came to my home for rehearsal of some songs I would be singing - a more handsome and much younger composer Jerry Herman - and WOW! His extensive repertoire, his ability to almost read minds as to musical tastes, led to a wonderful afternoon on July 11. All of our guests commented on how good he was. James could not have been a more wonderful addition to our event. I would highly recommend him; he is incredibly talented and impressively schooled in his craft. He could not have been more accommodating, even willing to spend a little pre-event rehearsal time with my daughter, who was singing our wedding aria (and not ever pianist can accompany an aria at the drop of a hat). he had great range--we wanted everything from classic jazz and cabaret music, right up to pop (and of course the aria). James is an EXCELLENT pianist! He made the event memorable for our father and his guests! Our father even said that James is so good that he was able to mask his mistakes when he was trying to sing-a-long and get in tune! It was the most fun we have had with live entertainment and James was just fabulous! He was on time, dressed well, and very accommodating. And lastly, one of the most amazing things was James was able to play the Gilligan's Island theme song for us and we had the entire party join along (the party was themed around Gillian's Island)! What a blast! I would highly recommend James and use him for future events!
