Karen was EXCELLENT, from day one all the way through to the day of. She periodically checked in with me throughout the planning of my wedding and offered a variety of suggestions for songs which I found incredibly helpful. On the day of, Karen arrived early and played the most beautiful music. I would highly recommend using her for any event!

Such amazing talent! Karen was very professional and helped me chose songs for our wedding - she even chose some for me when I couldn't decide. So many people came up to me after the ceremony to tell me how fantastic she was and how much they enjoyed her music. What can we even say! Karen was absolutely fantastic! We reached out weeks before our wedding, she did such a kind call, sent a list of music she could play, and took our recommendations, which she played beautifully! She was so thoughtful in e-mails. She was incredible at the event and played so beautifully. She had to leave at a specific time for a concert that night and played until the last second. If you are considering hiring a violinist for any event, she is truly the best! Thank you Karen for being so truly wonderful! Truly perfect from start to finish!

Karen is a wonderful performer! She offered a large variety of songs to choose from and was very helpful in suggesting songs to be played during the ceremony. She arrived on time, was very professional, and played all the requested material. Our guests loved listening to her music and spoke immensely of her talent. I would highly recommend her services. She helped to make our wedding day perfect!

I cannot say enough about how great Karen is. We hired her to play violin at our wedding ceremony and she was so easy to work with -- happily accommodating special requests, quick to respond to emails, and wowing the guests with her talent. Some of our friends told us about how, during our recessional song which was a surprise for guests, Karen broke out into a huge smile as she began to play. She helped make our day so fun and special. She is also also extremely nice and professional. This is one aspect of the event I didn't worry about at all, and I'm so thankful to her for that. Book her now, I promise you won't regret it!

Karen was such a fantastic find. She was pleasant and accommodating. A true professional. She worked with my daughter, the bride, to help her choose the music and even learned a new selection at my daughter's request. She worked with me about finances, logistics, etc. We were both so pleased. She made this portion of the wedding planning easy, pleasant, and stress free. I recommend her without any reservations. She is fantastic to work with and we received many compliments on the music. It was truly lovely and the perfect touch to my daughter's garden wedding.

Karen did an outstanding job. Her lovely music set the tone for our pre-ceremony cocktails in just the way we wanted. During the ceremony, she hit her cues effortlessly and all my guests were impressed with her playing. My new mother-in-law commented that it was a shame no one was listening post-ceremony when we were all hugging and crying!

Karen was a pleasure to work with!! We were looking for a violinist to play during our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour and were hoping for someone with both a classical and more fun/modern portfolio, and Karen was perfect! She was flexible, accomodating, and communicative. She set the tone just perfectly. She even jumped in to our wedding ceremony "sing along" when our audio recording failed :) She played with guitarist Matthew Wright, who was a lovely accompaniment.
Unfortunately as the bride, I didn't get to hear much of the ceremony or cocktail music, but everyone else greatly enjoyed it.
I would highly recommend.

Karen Burciaga played her violin beautifully at our daughter's outdoor wedding ceremony. Karen and her coworkers (Rebecca and Matthew) were professional and incredibly talented. We had hired them for music during a wedding ceremony and cocktail reception. They were accommodating of our requests and also able to provide suggestions when we were a little lost. Several guests came up and complemented us on the music, they were a real hit!
