I have to say...I did not worry one second about whether the musicians were dong their job. There was always beautiful music in the background, they were there on time, and because we had a HARD time-line at SFCH, they knew this and were accustomed to this requirement. They were already vetted by SFCH so they knew the rules of the house and where to go. Easy and quick communication. Ease of payment, all went well.

Lara was responsive and accommodating leading up to the wedding, was so kind when we finally met, and fulfilled all expectations! My husband and I were late getting back from pictures and unfortunately missed a lot of their playing time, but she still remembered my request for one song I didn’t want to miss and played it after we got back to the reception, which made me very happy. Thank you for making our day special!

Amethyst Trio was amazing!!! We hired them for our wedding at Thomas Fogarty Winery and we could not have been happier. They were absolutely incredible and added a special touch to what would have otherwise been just another business dinner. My guests loved the classic rock and recognizable tunes they were playing and even played a guessing game to name the songs. Highly recommend!!!

Amethyst trio played masterfully at our wedding. We hired a harp and violin duo. Before the wedding, Lara was super responsive over email and phone to all my requests. During the wedding, they timed the pieces for the bridal party entrance perfectly. Highly recommend for a no-stress highlight for a wedding ceremony.

The Amethyst Trop played for our wedding October 18, 2015. It was perfect. Everyone commented how exceptional the music was. I worked with Lara to compile a list of classical and soft music for our prelude, processionals, recessional, and cocktail hour, and they performed a solo during the service. Lovely. They have an amazing repertoire of instrumentals, both classical and modern. I would give the very highest recommendation for others to consider this excellent group. Your ceremony is a once-in-a-lifetime thing, so I'd encourage you to choose only the best. - Sandy R

The amazingly talented Amethyst Trio are both brilliant musicians and very kind. We are so grateful for the outstanding talent of pianist, harp and flute player Lara Garner, violinist Ilana Blumberg Thomas and cellist Sam Van Loon, playing like the Met and the Philharmonic. Ms. Garner went the extra mile and worked very hard for us. She is an excellent bandleader. I would be honored to work with The Amethyst Trio again. They played Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Stravinsky, Shubert and The Rolling Stones to perfection. Their immense talent and skill impressed everyone in the audience with their magnificent sound. They performed a superb Tango solo that had everyone in awe.
