Shananagan was great! I'm still not sure how he did it but he kept 15 kids (avg age 4) entertained for an hour in 90+ degree heat and the kids loved him!

Shanagan the Clown was great. He was very professional. He was very funny and entertaining. My son loved the clown. He really made it about the kids. It was so amazing even the adults enjoyed the entertainment and were gettin temporary tattoos. I would honestly recommend him for anyone looking for someone funny and entertaining for their kids party. Thanks Shananagan for making the party GREAT for my son and the other kids

Came to the party on time, he even said he would stay longer bc he wasn't booked he's very friendly kids loved him they had so much fun with him , he did great with face painting , creating balloons and performing . Thank you for making my sons 1st birthday a great one!!!!

Did a great job for the party. Would definitely hire him again. Showed up on time. Painted faces for the first hour fifteen. Did a clown show for the next 30. Made balloons for the final 15 minutes. Face painting quality isn't what you'd get from a face painting artist, but kids don't care; they just love having their faces painted. Gets dressed into his clown outfit during his act instead of showing up as a clown. What a great idea so the kids don't freak out at the sight of a clown. Once he was all dressed up, not one of the kids was scared of him. Kids were actually swarming him for the balloons and to squeeze his nose.

The kids had a blast. The face painting was a big hit and they had fun playing with the balloons! He sang songs with them and a few of the kids really enjoyed that too.

Shananagan was very friendly, flexible and professional. The lower ratings were related to the kids interactions. First most of them did not want their faces painted! What kid doesn't like face paint? During the performance some kids were entertained while others tended to walk aimlessly, he encouraged them to participate. The birthday girl was attentive and some enjoyed the performance. Maybe it was such a beautiful day and the kids only wanted to run and play outside. Parents enjoyed the performance. We didn't get to the balloon figures because guests were starting to leave. We had a problem with our timing and flow but Shananagan remained flexible.

The only thing a person reading this review needs to know is that their overall satisfaction was a 5. The review makes no sense. The children who wanted to see a show loved it as well as the adults. What kid doesn't like face paint? Apparently some of the children at her party. It happens all the time and it is certainly not the fault of the performer. There were very few children at the party and some of them who were not participating were actually eating at the kitchen table and they could still see the show. Although Shananagan the Clown was running a bit late, he jumped right into action as soon as he arrived. We had a small group of young children and he was able to keep all of them engaged. When they ran off being silly he lured them back in with "magic."

Here is the comment the client sent back to me: The Balloon and face painter were not very good at all. The face painter was limited to 2 designs and was not very good with the two designs. The balloon artist was also limited with their balloon are to 3 different shapes.

The review has no basis in reality. For face painting, I did at least 10 different designs and everyone was happy with what I did. I do 40 or 50 different designs, but what happens is the the children see something they like and then everyone wants the same thing. The balloon artist I brought does wonderful balloons and did far more than 3 designs but people liked what they saw and kept on asking for the same thing. For an added treat, the balloon artist who is also a fabulous magician walked the crowd doing close up magic which everyone loved. He was black. Maybe that was the problem. I have no idea what the customer is talking about.

Steve arrived at the party around 4pm with a suitcase. I showed him where to set up and expected that he would have some sort of puppeteer stage for the children. Instead, he simply started pulling things out of his suitcase for an hour. While the children were all under the age of 4, I paid for an expected a puppet show and balloon making. The worst part was that as he was leaving he stopped by the drink area, poured himself straight scotch and downed a drink. He also complained that there was no parking. We live in the city of Chicago and he should have been prepared for finding a location to park ahead of time. Use SpotHero. Come prepared.

This is the most bizarre review I have had in my37 years of entertaining. There is not one thing said that is actual fact. The children who were attending were 2 and 3 years old and too you to understand a puppet show so I told them I would do a variety clown show with extra puppets which they agreed to. I didn't complain there was no parking, they offered to park my car. The children loved the show and her husband gave me a $20. They offered me a drink and had one before I left. I have no idea this woman wrote a review like this and I am sure this will not effect my business because with over 40 five star reviews and people will realize it's not true.

He showed up late... his costume needs an update and needs a wash. He almost hit a child with a chair which we caught in a video. Hes good in face painting and baloon twisting.

The fact that I was a little late had no affect on how the party went and he didn't bother to mention that I worked with the children for an extra hour for free to make up for it. I am a hobo clown which he apparently has never seen before. Not one person in any other review mentioned my costume because they know it is suppose to look old and dumpy because one of my jokes is that I found it in the garbage. If I used a nice costume it would look totally out of place. He also did not mention that there was non stop laughter the entire show from both children and adults. A review like this was totally unexpected because I know everyone there had a wonderful time.

MY EXPERIENCE WAS TERRIBLE A GUY IN REGULAR CLOTHES WAS SENT OUT WHEN I EXPRESSED MY CONCERN TO HIM AS WELL AS SHANANAGAN THE GUY LEFT THE EVENT DIDN;T PERFORM AND MY DEPOSIT WAS TAKEN FROM ME I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO REACH ANYONE SINCE THE DAY OF SAID EVENT.

It was a last minute booking and I sent her a good entertainer but explained that he was a magician, not a clown. When he arrived she said she had to have a clown and would not even let him perform. The children would have had a wonderful show but she chose not to use him. There was nothing I could do.
