The rating appears to be a mistake. There were no comments saying they did not like my work. I know the children had a good time and the client didn't seem to have a problem with my balloons and face painting. Also, there is no .5 rating listed. I am assuming there should be no decimal point in front of the 5 and it is a 5 rating , not a 1.

He arrived on time to our event and stayed longer than he was scheduled. He was friendly with the children at our party, most of them were 4 years old. About 30 minutes into the act, the children started running around like 4-year old children would do and he got frustrated that they would not stay seated for the rest of the performance. He did end up changing the flow of his show to what the children wanted, which was balloon animals, but verbally was irritated he could not finish his planned show and this was evident to the children. He also uses a lot of stuffed/rubber animals and makes a lot of quick movements with them which scared younger children at party.

I have no idea why he would write this type of review. The children were totally out of control to the point where they would not even listen to their parents. I wasn't verbally irritated but I told him I couldn't do a performance if the children wouldn't sit down. They were into my things and even kicking some of my equipment. I did walk around entertainment with puppets and ukulele music to help keep the children from being quite so wild and destructive. 4 year olds are not afraid of rubber animals. My adapting to the situation should automatically give me a 5 star rating. If he wasn't happy, I don't know why he gave me a tip.

There was confusion on which location to go to and he was 25 minutes late to the start of his performance. I had emailed the day prior with the address and my cell phone number.

It was partly my fault by not seeing that the information in the email was different that what I had on the contract, which is why I was a little late, but she told me it didn't make any difference because I was there in time to start the show at the time they wanted it anyway. The people loved the show and I stayed extra time to make sure everyone got a balloon after the show which I did for free and was not even part of the contract. What is really strange is that the overall satisfaction was low than their willingness to recommend me. I've got 45 5 star reviews and doubt if this will change people's opinion of my work.

He arrived right on time, got set up, and began with face painting. The kids enjoyed it so much! After the face painting he started a show with them, very interactive, the kids loved it, they were all involved. Will recommend to everyone. Thank You.

We booked for a child's bday party based on the reviews here. We were extremely disappointed. His clothes were dirty, covered in spills, and smelled horrible. His props for the kids to use (wigs, etc) were filthy. When he started putting on makeup he asked the kids who wanted a kiss from him. He used a squirting camera that made kids cry. Magic tricks were not bad, but inappropriate for a small child: he stuck a sword through a 4-year-old's throat and the mother was horrified. I was so embarrassed. He handed out business cards to kids and didn't let them pick the color for their balloon animal. That wouldn't have been a big deal if it weren't for the other issues.

Not at all an accurate description of what happened. I did the same show that I always do and I have 50 five star reviews on this site alone. She didn't mention that the children were totally entertained and loved the show. That is why I always get 5 star reviews.
I am a hobo clown. My clothes are old but they do not smell. One small child got upset because a drop of water got on them but all the other children laughed. I put greasy make-up on my lips and joke I will kiss someone. At every other show people laugh because they know it is a joke. My props are not dirty and children get any color balloon they want. The children enjoyed all the magic.

The children had a wonderful time and the rest of the people at the party thanked me for doing a great job. I have no idea what the rating was based on. The children were happy with the face painting and balloons and laughed the entire show. The review makes no sense. Some people just like to be negative for no reason. I have over 40 5 star reviews on this site and I am sure most people will not take this review seriously.

Not what we expected. Disappointed from beginning to end.

All I know is that the children were laughing and interacting with me the entire time I was there and they seemed have had a wonderful time. They also seemed to like the balloons I made. If that was not what you expected I am very sorry. When children laugh and have a good time I feel I have done my job. Apparently in this case it was not good enough. I am sorry you were disappointed. In 31 years of entertaining and 13,000 shows I can say I have only had a few people who did not like my show. There are famous entertainers with millions of fans that some people do not like. It is just a fact of life. I hope you get someone you like next time.

The face painting was a BIG hit. The show was just "so-so". Thank goodness the kids went along with it. Shananagan is a nice person I'm sure but he needs to work on his presentation. Would I hire him again, unfortunately no. Was I disappointed---very much so.

Totally confused at the comments. I Had the children and adults laughing and entertained the entire time I was there and they gave me a tip. I've been doing this for 35 years and gotten 5 star rating for exactly the same response from the audience. Some people simply do not understand clown comedy. If everyone in the audience is laughing, you can't get a better response. They had problems with their venue and I even waited 45 minutes past my start time to start the performance and did not charge them for the extra time. I have dozens of 5 star reviews on Gigmasters so I can't imagine it will affect my hiring status.
