We very much enjoyed working with Brett and performing for him, his family, and his guests. It was a pleasure for everyone involved and a complete success. We also received many compliments from guests, along with numerous requests for our business cards.
What I don't understand is how Brett gave us a full 5 stars in every category — Professionalism, Accommodating, Talent, and Likelihood to Recommend — and even described us as “10 out of 10” in his written review, yet rated us 4.5 stars for Overall Satisfaction. Still, a 4.9 overall rating is nearly perfect, and I can accept that with the understanding that nothing is ever truly perfect.
If you look through our reviews, you'll see that virtually all — though admittedly not every single one — are full 5-star reviews (this one being 4.9).

We had the pleasure of booking Good Cop Bad Cop at our Distinguished Schools event, and they were fantastic from start to finish. The band brought incredible energy, kept the party flowing seamlessly, and did a great job incorporating our song requests into the set. Their sense of timing and crowd engagement really made the night special.
Ken was especially communicative and professional throughout the process, which made planning easy and stress-free. The band arrived early for setup and sound check, started right on time, and worked perfectly with the flow of our event.
Overall, they played a huge role in making the evening a success—highly recommend!

For Stonecreek Junior High, Denise booked Good Cop Bad Cop, a fantastic four-piece band, to perform at an event celebrating the school's distinguished achievements. Denise was a pleasure to work with, as was Principal Katrina, and everyone involved was genuinely wonderful.
The event took place at Luigi's in Bakersfield, an Italian restaurant that has been family-owned and operated at the same location since 1912! If you love truly authentic, home-style Italian food, Luigi's is an absolute must—think hearty, home-cooked flavors served with warmth and charm.

Their fantastic mix of songs, exceptional singing, and very pleasing sound was like having our own mini concert. Never have we seen our firm partying and singing so much. It was a pleasure working with Ken and his band. I was a little skeptical at first since we are a faith based senior living community BUT the residents and staff loved the music. There were 400 guests so it was no little event. I received some many compliments throughout the entire event and days later.
Good Cop Bad Cop was a hit! I will definitely be booking them for future events.

Well, there you go: Good Cop Bad Cop is even approved (with 5 stars) by a "faith based senior living community!" It's true, Good Cop Bad Cop has performed at over 1,000 events (151 through The Bash at the time of this writing), virtually all kinds because we have an extensive wide-variety song list, and a lot of experience.

From the clear communication before the event to coming early and setting up to the actual performance which had my guests rocking amd dancing. Hired them for my 4th of July party and everybody loved them. Great, wide ranging catalogue. The Duo sounds like a full band with many instruments. Definite recommend. Will hire again for future parties.

One clarification: Joel stated, "The duo sounds like a full band with many instruments." To be sure: We don't play to instrumental tracks, and we don't have many instruments, though the duo's sound is remarkably full and very high-quality. What you hear is excellent guitar and percussion playing, extraordinary singing and fine sound mixing. Everything is live- the guitar, percussion and vocals, and the sound quality surely rivals bands (and is a lot better than what many present).

My son had the best 3rd birthday with a great band! GCBC were very easy to work with and quick to respond to any email/text. They accommodated all song requests. Our toddler loves music and they made his day! All the guests had a fantastic time. Best 3rd birthday ever!

Our first event of 2024, this was a double 3rd Birthday Party outdoors at Manhattan Beach Country Club- a fun party for a bunch of young parents and their young kids (some even unborn).
Roxana gave us 24 of 25 stars. If this were school, that would be grade of 96%, a "high A."
That said, for "overall satisfaction," she gave us 5 (of 5) stars; so, it appears she was, say, maximally satisfied, overall.

This was a holiday party for, of all things, an organization of anesthesiologists. About to begin our performance, I greeted them saying: "I understand you're a group of anesthesiologists. What I'd like to know is: Did you bring any?"
Very nice folks to work with and play for. Very friendly and hospitable, and they tipped (always appreciated). We hope to meet up with any or all of them again.
The venue, El Paseo Restaurant, Santa Barbara, is a very beautiful, mission-style building built in the 1800s!

As this was an '80s party, Good Cop Bad Cop played all '80s hits. However, GCBC has 14+ hours of hits from the past 7 decades- great variety for teens to seniors: Give us a group of guests/audience- We've got a great mix of songs for them (which, in part, is why we have a 5 star rating and Best of Awards last 8 (soon to be 9) years in a row).
We thank Kayla, husband Mitch and mother-in-law / mother, Kathy for their hospitality and tip, and for the 5 star review.
Nice family and friends, we hope to meet up again sometime.

These guys were awesome! Had us chanting GCBC by the end of the night. We will definitely be hiring them again in the future our guests had the best time and lots of dancing and singing a long. From my initial contact with Ken from Good Cop Bad Cop I knew that this was going to be a good experience. Ken was very professional and pleasant in his dealings with me. I hired both the duo and the band to play for our party. Both the duo and band were outstanding in their performances. Most, if not all of our guests commented on how much they were enjoying the music!
One thing I especially liked was that Good Cop Bad Cop had many videos posted on their website/YouTube so that I could review their performances before hiring them. Also, I was able to select the songs that I wanted performed. Their song list is extensive.
I highly recommend the duo and the band!

This is our 2nd time hiring Good Cop Bad Cop. The first time was for my daughter’s medical school graduation, the 2nd time was for a Black tie Fundraiser. Both times they were stellar! They are very talented, their song list is vast! My husband and I are already thinking about hiring Good Cop Bad Cop for our daughter’s wedding reception. Yes, this was the second time Jackie hired Good Cop Bad Cop. First, she hired duo for daughter's Medical School Graduation Party. Now, she hired whole band for a Black tie Community Fundraiser put on by Filipino-American Association of Santa Clarity Valley, Grand Ballroom, Hyatt-Regency Valencia. The Mayor of Santa Clarita and other dignitaries attended. And, the big, pleasant surprise was Jackie became President of the "Fil-Am" Santa Clarity Chapter, she was handed gavel during event.
