DJ Charlie Roberts did a wonderful job with our wedding reception. I picked him originally because he has transparent pricing listed on his website (something that was hard to find). After booking him, he sent me a link to a portal to upload songs, a planning form, and a timeline. It was super easy to use and very organized. Day of, DJ Charlie handled everything seamlessly and left us nothing to worry about. It was a new venue for him, but he worked great with the venue and our photographer to keep everything on track. We would highly recommend Charlie if you're looking for a great DJ. Thank you again, DJ Charlie!

Charlie was amazing from beginning to end. Where to begin, he was so easy to communicate with and accommodating. Charlie made our ceremony magical. Timing was everything and he nailed it. He made the flow of the night go off without any issues. It was smooth! Our reception was incredible and our dance floor…. Omg we had people dancing that we’ve never seen dance before. Charlie was the best and we would recommend him to literally anyone for any event. What a great guy and the best DJ!

Holly: Thank you so much for the great 5 star review! It was a pleasure entertaining your combined families at Ates Wedding Barn in Milton. You all kept the dance floor packed; we could have easily partied another couple hours had time permitted.
That's a great point to bring up. Most venue contracts say you have the room until a certain time; let's say 11 pm. But that usually means "out of the room" by that time. With a wedding of 100-150 people, it can take an hour to an hour and a half to break everything down and return the room to "ready" status. So when planning your timeline, take that into consideration to make sure you get started with the reception celebration early enough to allow for cleanup time without shortchanging your time to party and celebrate!

The bride and groom put together three Spotify request lists: one for the cocktail hour, dinner hour and dance reception. I put their combined play lists together and the celebration was flawless right up to the exit at 10 pm. I have the songs on my hard drive, but Spotify is a great tool to get the song lists to me and they merge well with my online planning software. I’ve known Charlie for years bc I would see him at weddings and always did a really good job. I booked him for my wedding in November and was so happy to work with him, he made the process so easy to book him and communicated very well. He is easy to get along with too, he is professional.

I was dinged on professionalism for this review because the owner of the venue, Oake Haven Lodge, Marianna, chewed the bride out right before the wedding ceremony for us vendors driving on her grass, which surrounded the barn venue. I honestly didn't see the signs when I drove up to the main building where the bathrooms are 200+ feet away from the barn venue. I apologized to everyone, as did the caterer, who was also guilty of grassicide. I have never been at a barn venue that did not have bathrooms for the guests; it made for a painful walk for the older ones. Yes, I was wrong, I apologized, but the rudeness of the owner, along with her bothering the bride with such right before the ceremony was inexcusable. I sincerely regret missing the signs.

Our DJ was absolutely incredible! He was so attentive and professional, even when a few things didn’t go as planned, you would have never known because he kept everything running so smoothly. The music was perfect all night; he played every song at the right time and had everyone on the dance floor. On top of that, he was so kind and easy to work with. I would hire him over and over again without hesitation! He truly made our wedding unforgettable.
