Excellent DJ and very professional. I highly recommend Charlie. He really made my daughter's Sweet 16 birthday party. Charlie was great, well beyond expectations! We will definitely use him again. He had every song my daughter requested. Great job Charlie!!!!!!!!!!!!

Charlie did an INCREDIBLE job!
On time, dressed sooo cool! VERY friendly to everyone. EVERY teen at the party thought he was cool, thats rare! The music selection was spot on! We will be loyal customers from this point on! Excellent communication throughout the process, and very comforting! I had such fears about desasters, he helped relieve my fears in every way he could. I simply can not say enough good things about him. We thank him sooooooooo much and can't wait until our next event. We were extremly pleased with our reception. Charlie did an excellent job and I had quite a few people asking me for his card. charlie DJ'd our wedding and was absolutely fabulous!!! he was totally open to whatever we wanted, generous, incredibly NICE (which is VERY important to us), had to do a couple of new things on the fly and was incredibly accomodating to do them. i found him here on gigmasters and had no idea what we were in for but hoped for the best and he far exceeded all expectations!!! i can't say enough nice things about him--except that WITHOUT A DOUBT we would and will use him for any future events that we can. he was a dream!!!!!

We couldn't ask for a better performance. Charlie rocked the house. When you look at this shaved head guy walking in, you think...he's a DJ? Then he just takes over and morphs into this Master MC! Seriously...the dance floor stayed packed. Thanks, Charlie. The Wilsons were ectastic.

Our scheduled DJ cancelled out due to an emergency. Charlie had planned to take the weekend off and actually came off vacation to cover the two nights for us. He did a great job both nights, keeping the crowd dancing and the party going early into the morning.

Charlie did an amazing job!
We had family members who came from Belgium and some from Columbia... We had the traditional chicken dance and polka... but Charlie really picked up on the crowd and played music EVERYONE loved!
We sent him the music we needed the day before the big day and he had it all! And we forgot a lot, like the cutting of the cake and the entrance music, and he played a perfect selection!
We also had guests who had made slide shows for us and Charlie very graciously helped them set everything up! And he took care of the sound! It was an amazing day! We had so much fun we actually forgot about our exit and danced all night! Thank you SO much!!!!!!

I was very pleased with my Experience from Charlie. I loved his music selection and he incoporated any special requests that I had in mind. This was an event where an outside agency (Eventworx) hired me to provide entertainment for a high dollar client out of Colorado. I was given no info on the event until I showed up that afternoon, despite repeated requests. Nancy's corporate announcement & awards time line was wrong; she had me introducing persons in the wrong order. Nothing went according to plan until I took over and the dancing commenced. I won't bore you with the rest. Eventworx is a joke. DON"T HIRE THEM. Corporate people: Hire the DJ yourself on GigMasters. You'll save money and have a great time!

As an Emcee and DJ, he handled the time line smoothly, playing all of the requested songs, making all of the proper announcements, and kept the dance floor packed. The event was a success. With both of us traveling a lot right before the event, it was very difficult to touch base. It would have been nice to talk with him over the phone before the day of the event to make sure we had everything squared away and I knew what time he would be arriving. My bridesmaids were a little stressed out about his arrival time.
BUT, all that being said, everyone raved about the music. The party kept going until all hours of the night. He knew exactly what to play to keep everyone dancing the night away!!!!

Charlie was very quick to respond to e-mails and seemed very personable. We were disappointed because our only real request was that he play a lot of classic rock music, but he never played a single song. Guests commented that he didn't seem interested in the reception. We were also unhappy because we were told that we could add an additional hour if we needed, but then found out at the reception that he had went ahead and booked another gig immediately following ours, so we felt rushed.

When booked, I explained I was under contract for an event later that nite. She was on a tight budget so we agreed to a start time & an extra hour option if needed, honoring my prior contract. The week of the wedding, Nissa opted for a later start time; she wanted beach sunset pictures & did not plan for the time. Because this changed the time window, I cancelled our option before agreeing to the change,not at the reception as she claims. I played classic rock without complaints & everyone had fun until beer ran out early-another budget victim. That nite I booked 2 more weddings & the groom tipped me $50. Poor planning+low budget=unhappy bride. Don't blame the DJ.

Charlie Robert Luther by far was the best decision we could have made. We were both very nervous about everything going smoothly during the ceremony and reception, Charlie went above and beyond his call of duty by helping us execute our timeline perfectly. He played every bit of music when and how we wanted. Every one of our guests said that our DJ was spectacualar, in fact we all had so much fun that by the end of the night, the entire wedding wound up in the swimming pool dancing the night away!
