With all do respect, I worked hard to get Mr. Arsenault to choose the most important songs for his event. I know his mother requested a couple of country songs that I did not have but eventually she asked for an Aerosmith song that I did have and played - apparently she wanted a song for someone to dance with her daughter in law. Mr. Arsenault again with do respect blindsided me with a special request to dance with his daughter. I put the party on hold until I found a song comparable, he okayed it, he danced with his daughter and the party lights were turned at that very moment to make it extra special. Overall I think his feedback is good.

Jose was great. He worked closely with us prior to the event ensuring we had all the music we wanted. He was on time, set-up quickly. Prior to the start he reviewed the party's schedule. He also worked with a bagpiper that was also part of the party.
Everyone at the party loved him. He had a fantastic selection of music that we asked him for. We would definitely hire him again for another event.

I would definitely hire Dj. Sense again. He helped make our wedding reception the best day of our life. He was always quick to respond to our e-mails or phone calls. He was very accommodating in handling our special requests. He handled several last minute changes perfectly.
Dj. Sense was honest, professional and sincere from our first meeting to the end of our reception. All of our guests had a great time.

I would use him again. He was very courteous, respectful and did meet all my needs. I would recommend him to all my friends. Alot of people asked me where I found him and would use him for any of their parties, events etc.
The crowd at my house ranged from ages 14 to 60.

Horrible experience! Jose did not follow the schedule we thoroughly discussed/ I was insulted to find he had the schedule showing all the songs we requested but for whatever reason failed to play all of them but our first dance. Did not announce dinner service, cake cutting, kept asking guests for cigarettes! I asked him about 4 times to stop accepting requests from guests and he ignored that request the whole night stating it was the requests he was receiving. In my opinion its our wedding and we are paying you,not our guests. I am actually going to ask for a refund, it was horrible. Our photographer had to attempt to TELL Dj sense what to do next.i feel ripped off!

Liz, I am extremely disappointed as well that you have affected my ratings in the worse way. I have no clue what you are talking about as far as the photographer goes. I was pressured by your Spanish side of the family into being fair to them. We had agreed on previous emails that I would alternate English to Spanish. I announced your first three tables and had to run off to my car to get tape to for my cables that had to be run across the car garage to protect them from the rain. My car was parked far away. Your dinner was announced, your cake cutting was announced. Your last song Stairway To Heaven was played and you dance with Matt to it. Sincerely, DJ Sense.

DJ Sense was very professional and worked well with our last minute changes (especially when we couldn't find the cake). Even the time leading up to the event was great. He made sure to accomodate for song requests and had a large selection of music to choose from. He was very helpful with planning our time line since we were planning the wedding reception ourselves and didn't have much experience.

Dj sense did need more experience in weddings, as well as have a better variety of music. as well as Dj Sense defentiley needed to be more self thinking and not call on every detail the wedding needed

As far as I could tell the march song went good, a variety of music was played for everyone in the room, first song, the garter, bouquet, cake songs that you had requested were played and seemed that you were in accordance and having fun at that. The song for the broter and sister dance seemed to have gone right. Regardless I appreciate being a part of your most special night. I'm not sure what you mean about me calling on every detail of the wedding. I will use your feedback in a constructive manner that will help me become a better performer.

Very responsive and open to requests. We felt the play list deviated a bit from what we requested and the guests overall assessment seemed to be that the music was "okay". Very professional and pleasant to deal with, though.

DJ sense was corteous, professional, prompt and accomodating. He was also very patient with all of the madness that can surround pre-wedding planning. He showed up on time, and has excellent equipment. He was dressed appropriately and was very friendly to the guests. I would suggest that future brides/grooms give DJ Sense a cd with their preferred songs, as his collection seemed a bit limited at times. Overall, very nice person.

Thank you Laura. It was very fair - your rating. Since then I've loaded up with Gran Combo, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Celia Cruz, and more. I now realize that old school latin has to be there after all the bride/grooms parents are normally a bit old school. I was also limited in not playing hip/hop and reggaeton. Big experience learned from your wedding. Your feedback has given me tons of ideas.

Dj Sense was very nice. He experienced difficulty with our song list and the computer lost our whole list. He did his best to keep things going and did reimburse me some money due to the technical difficulties.

I managed to figure out what went wrong. I deactivated the video portion of the program not realizing that it would hide all the videos I had lined up for that night. My sincere apologies to the Munson family, although as Heidi states I managed to play a handful of the songs she wanted to hear. This was a technical difficulty that I was not expecting at all, all the videos hid on me but the mp3s were there for other songs. This will never happen again now that I know the consequences behind deactiving the video section within VirtualDJ...Thank you for you understanding Heidi...

I used Dj sense for my husband 40 year birthday party and we were very satisfied with his service.Dj sense accommodated all the request we made and even my crowd which is not a dancing style of people came up dance and have a good time. He came an hour before the event set up all the equipment and start on time. I would definitely recommend DJ sense !

He was supposed to be there at 4pm to start setting up. My ceremony was to start at 5:30 and he did not show up until after it was over and then needed to set up. His reason was traffic. However, seeing as it was a Friday night wedding and he was coming from the North shore to the South shore, he should have counted on this. It made the wedding very stressful with guests having to help out with the music. I understand that the contract stated that we hired him until 10pm, however, he was almost 2 hours late and wanted to end the his services promptly at 10 even though we had verbally agreed prior to end at 11. I found this unacceptable and would not reccommend him.

The contract was agreed from 5pm to 10pm five hours. I gave you the extra hour to make up for showing up at 6pm due to traffic. I had no problems staying there until 11pm to make up the time. I did that with pleasure. You did receive a $75 dollar discount, not to say that all the money in the world would not make up for missing your ceremony but once I was ready at 6pm everything else went according to plan. I offered my sincere apologies. I should point out that you never communicated with me from 8/14 on and never returned my call to your work number asking that we needed to talk. That may have been an opportunity to remind me to watch out for Boston traffic. Sorry

My most honest review of DJ Sense is that he was very good prior to the wedding, follow up, correspondence etc. However the day of the wedding that changed and I have listed my complaints below:
1. He played at most 30% of the song list we chose, the other 70% was music he chose which people actually complained about afterwards.
2. He was unorganized throughout the ceremony with names etc.
3. He did not have our prerequested Garter Song so he played something of his own.
4. He gave my wife an attitude when he asked if there was cake for him and she told him it was all gone.
5. He suggested I tip at the end of the night.

Ok I know this is not Mariela and I hope you consulted with her before submitting this feedback. I agree that the I was not able to locate the Garter Song but I gave you a song very compatible. Only the dumbest DJ would stoop so low and give the actual bride an attitude about the cake, I simply asked, she gave it a shot and was not able to get me any but I never gave her an attitude. I think you tipped me $20 dollars --- for a 6 hr event, including the ceremony I believe you got a bargain. I don't recall you or your wife complain not even once throughout the night so this comes as a shocker. Your sister in law had asked me to switch things up to accomodate the latin

Dj Sense did a great job keeping the party going. He was very good at making sure the music was clean and age appropriate for a party filled with 10 year olds. It was well done and the 3 hours went by very fast. I would hire him again.
