Dan and Tim did a super job. We thoroughly enjoyed them, teachers and students alike. We will definitely have them back for any and all future events. Thank you again for putting on a great show. John Roberson.

Birthday Party (Kids)Reviewed on October 23, 2010From Edmond, OK

We hired DJ Dan for an 8th grade birthday/dance party and it was a great experience for all! He was prompt, polite, professional, hard-working and fun! The kids never sat down, he had them on their feet the entire party! No qualms about an appropriate show for this age group and a fantastic light show as well. I would absolutely recommend him. The kids and parents were all equally impressed and his cost was certainly reasonable! I would have no reservations about hiring him again in the future!

What a fantastic group of kids & parents! They made awesome requests, challenging me to play most of my newer music, and I couldn't keep them off the dance floor! I'm looking forward to future parties with this group! ~DJ Dan

We're so glad to be able to have DJ Dan at our wedding. He helped us threw a great party and everyone had a great time. He demonstated to us great professionalism as well as accomodating. He has come across not only as a great person, but also as a friend. I would definitely recommend him to other brides! -Audrey, Wichita, KS

Birthday Party (Adult)Reviewed on September 25, 2022From Oklahoma City, OK

What a great experience! Dan is professional and reliable! The venue made a mistake and the entire set up (which was mapped out for the hotel) was backwards! Dan moved his entire set up quickly and without complaint. He played all our requested songs. Gave a suggestion when to turn down the lights and also provided a mic and coordinated the perfect time to sing happy birthday. The sound quality and lighting effects were top notch. I really appreciate all his coordination and thoughtfulness to planning a party while I was out-of-state. Everyone commented on how great the DJ was and my mom wants to use him annually for her holiday celebrations! Dan did not disappoint!

Graduation PartyReviewed on September 3, 2011From Norman, OK

I have to tell you that our guest were disappointed in the music selections. I thought I had explained to Dan what type of music we wanted. He just didn't have the music or he didn't understand what 50's & 60's music and country music is. He would be ok for a young crowd but not for an older group.

:

Karen Lujan is possibly the WORST CUSTOMER I've ever worked for. The party was for her daughter's college graduation, and her daughter was THRILLED with the party I brought. The majority of guests danced and made requests, so they weren't actually 'disappointed in the selections.' I played what FEW songs were requested by Karen in advance (mostly duds that her daughter wasn't really thrilled about) and I have the computerized playlist to prove that I DID play the 50's and 60's songs she asked for, plus a decent amount of Country Music. Advice for Karen: If you hire a DJ for your daughter's party, let your daughter and her friends dictate most of what the DJ plays.

Wedding ReceptionReviewed on June 16, 2023From Wichita, KS

He was hard to reach in the weeks leading up to the event. I reached out several times and got no response until the night before and didn’t get any info about his set up plan. He was rude to my family during set up and made a quip at the end of the night about not being informed about the ending time so there would only be 11 seconds left of music. I have email proof showing that he received a detailed schedule including shut down time and asked several times if he needed any additional info. He also didn’t create a unique playlist for the event, he just played the songs we liked to dance to in the same order we listed them in an email so the music didn’t flow.

I'm at a loss. In texting this 'unpleasable' bride, I responded without delay, 100%. I did share pics & info about our set-up, and we crammed our set-up into a corner to try to save them space for a dance floor - they booked a venue that was too small for their guest list - but we did all we could. They kept bringing a ladder over (keeping us from setting up) to put more decor above our set-up area. This bride sent a schedule (by text) 1 day prior, and it had NO info about shut-down time. The venue told us - with party still going at 10:45pm - we had to shut down & get out immediately. I mixed up their songs AND took requests - GOT A NICE TIP FROM THE GROOM!! SMH.
