From the start, Mark and his assistant Laura were incredibly professional. They graciously accommodated every request we had to ensure that our big day was exactly as envisioned. Mark provided all the materials we needed for the music, karaoke, and even set up a projector for multimedia presentations. His rates were outstanding for the level of service we received, and in addition to playing music and being the Emcee, Mark is an outstanding singer. All of our guests had a remarkable time as the dancing continued for hours. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have found Mark and will highly recommend him to all out friends and family!

Mark is the epitome of professionalism and was the perfect DJ for our event. He was very accomodating when we had a date change, and was willing to everything within his power to make sure that our event was the best that it could be.

We hired them for our preteen (ages 10-14) Spring Fling at a country club. The music was great, the karaoke portion was fantastic, and the lights & equipment were high quality. The kids were up dancing and singing most of the time. Definitely kept it age appropriate. The kids didn't want to leave and asked to have a party like that every month.

So very professional. The day of our event bad weather set in. Our county and surrounding counties received up to 12 inches of snow and ice. Over half of the services we had booked had to cancel or was closed down due to the weather. On Your Mark, Get Set, Music went above and beyond our expectations to keep its commitment to us. We really appreciated that, considering with a wedding you can not easily reschedule and not be out alot of expense. On Your Mark, Get Set, Music made this event so personal for us with all the details they put in to the planning. We were extremely pleased with the service we received. Mark was on time, very professional and very talented. The caterer called me before the wedding even started and told me that I would be very pleased with the music! She heard him preparing as she was setting up the food. She also asked me for his information because she wanted to use him at her family members wedding!
He had very good equipment and a good variety of music. The kids loved the bubble machine and the adults loved the karaoke. Mark played according to what the guests wanted. He watched how the crowed reacted to the songs being played and catered to that.
I'll admit that I was very busy before the wedding so I didn't have a lot of time to be in touch with Mark. He made it a point to call and email me and was always very polite even when I wasn't as prompt as I should have been in answering his emails or phone calls.
I would recommend On you Mark, Get set, Music to everyone.

Kenny McKinney has a great voice and is very personable. His repertoire is extensive and he is very willing to work with you to pick just the right songs for the occasion. The recipient of the surprise performance had this to say, "As the former owner of Caddyshack Bar and Grill, I have seen many performers. Kenny McKinney ranks at the top as one of the best."

Mark did a really great job in handling the music for our wedding reception! From the planning phase onward he was very professional, enthusiastic and accomodating. He met with us several times and even invited us to his house to discuss music choices. He also sang several songs, himself, at our reception. These songs were ones that he had recommended and they did, indeed, fit in with the mood that we had imagined having at our reception. He also added special touches--such as using a bubble machine during our first dance! I would most definitely recommend Mark to anyone looking for quality entertainment by a highly organized and professional individual. Mark definitely knows what he's doing and obviously enjoys doing it! He helped make our wedding everything we'd hoped for.

Mark's performance during and before our wedding was amazing! His rates are lower than what he could charge for being such a fantastic DJ. He sat down with my husband and I before the wedding to hash out what kind of music we were going to play. He was in constant communication with us during the month before our wedding. He set everything up and worked with us involving time and place. He was a wonderful DJ and we would recommend him to anyone planning any sort of event. Just think: better quality for way less than those other guys. I guess I sound like a commercial, but really, my husband and I were on a budget, and he fit right in. Thanks Mark!

We used this DJ for a graduation party and was very pleased. He had state of the art equipment, showed up on time and was very accommodating to our reqests. Mark is very accomadating to the needs of his clients. He adapts quickly when demanding clients like me change things last min. His communication was awesome, not once did I go more than an hour without an answer to an email and he always called to follow up and make sure everything was ok. Although we said we did not want karaoke our groomsman heard he did this and wanted to sing, Mark accomadated quickly, with ease and with a smile. Mark is also a great singer and it fit in very well with our wedding. I thoroughly recommend Mark and if we need him for another event he will definately be our first choice. Thanks again Mark. :)

Mark helped make our wedding ceremony and reception absolutely perfect! He had the best equipment with the latest technology and was more than accommodating! He met with us at the site a week before the wedding (something other DJs we enquirer about wouldn't do), gave us suggestions and listened to our wants with no objections! Before our reception, I never thought that a light show could make such a huge impact on the party until I saw Mark's lights! His lights set the mood for the reception and completely transformed the entire environment! The setting was beautiful, the music was great and Mark was awesome! Mark is the best DJ I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He accomodates all requests, is a true professional and has a fabulous personality. I must say that his lighting equipment put the punch into our party! The lights were spectacular and I had many people request his contact information during and after the party.
