Jose was awesome! Thank you so much for the fun time. He did an excellent job keeping everyone on the dance floor; the young and older. It certainly was a pleasure working with Jose and I definitely will call on him for my next event.
I stronlgy recommend the "Music Kitchen" to everyone out there looing for a great DJ! You will be guaranteed a great time.

We hired The music kitchen for our daughters Quinceanera. Jose was a pleasure to deal with, he was very professional and he kept the party going right down to the last minute of the last hour of our party. Adults and teens alike had fun throughout the night. We also hired the videographer and photographer from the music Kitchen. Those girls were FANTASTIC ! they did not sit at all, they were up capturing every moment and even made suggestions along the way for capturing the most memorable moments. All in all we were very happy with the services they provided all around. The music kitchen has alot to offer and if you want to one stop shop for all your entertainment services then look no further than the music kitchen. Our wedding was yesterday, September 9th 2006. Jose, from the Music Kitchen, made the whole day extra special. He supplied the music for the outdoor ceremony, which was beautiful. Then he quickly adjusted to the indoor ceremony at the same location. He organized the introduction of the wedding party, and directed the whole entrance - which helped set the pace for the rest of the reception. We ran into an issue with the timing of the food being served, Jose quickly adjusted his agenda, and kept the party going at a great pace. He also took over the role of matrade to get the kitchen staff in gear. He played all of the music that I previously requested, and was able to accomodate the special requests by my guests. My guest list was a mix of Polish, German, and Puerto Rican. Jose' kept the energy going no matter what music was playing. Almost all of the seats remained empty, because EVERYONE danced all night. He did such an awesome job. He made my wedding day extra special, and memorable. I would love to throw another pary, just so I can hire him again. I would recommend him to everyone looking for a DJ for their event. I am so glad I found him on the internet.

Jose and the Music Kitchen allowed the two of us to enjoy our wedding to the fullest. Our one special request was delivered to perfection and his professionalism and work ethic was admired by all. Many business cards were asked of him throughout the ceremony. Thank you again Jose!

Jose did a fabulous job making our Bar Mitzvah party a success! He played the exact types of music we asked for and was very accommodating to our eleventh hour requests for specific songs to be played during my son's candlelighting ceremony. He kept the party hopping with interesting, unique games for my son and his friends to play. He was also very thoughtful in handling the younger children at the party and making them a part of the scene while engaging the interest of the young teens. He participated in the games was very involved and open to the kids at the party. He also got on the dance floor with everyone.
In short, he was all we asked him to be and more! I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a quality DJ at a reasonable price!

Wow, Jose was amazing! Our event was spectacular and FABULOUS!You made my event an everlasting memory. I enjoyed the music from start to finish. My guest and I didn't want the party to end. You know I was a bit...okay honestly...I was very skeptical of what to expect and so amazed of your talent to excite the crowd, the music was nonstop "FABULOUS" and two thumbs up for the videographer...I can't wait to see the DVD to relive this memorable day. She made sure to capture the exciting moments as the DVD will show. All I can say is I know many people will use your services because my friends couldn't stop talking about the awesome party, well organized event, and the incredible DJ who had so much charisma and "FLAVOR" I want to say thank you in so many ways, and apologize for my "NERVOUS NELLY" WAYS.... we are planning another event...without a doubt...we will use you again...All who use The Music Kitchen services will definitely not regret it....Jose...thanks for wearing purple for me....FABULOUS!

Jose and his crew were terrific. I hired him for my son's Bar Mitzvah through Gigmasters internet service and was understanably a bit nervous. Jose was professional from the get go. He came through with every promise that he made. The staff that he brought with him were all reliable,and professional. The party was a huge successs. We had 49 boys and 11 girls- a tough crowd to please. My son and his friends gave the party a HUGE thumbs up.

The Music Kitchen made my daughter's Sweet 16 truly memorable. There was something for all age groups. I would not hesitate to book them again. A major concern was keeping it "clean", while still letting the teens enjoy their favorite songs. Never once was I worried about what was going to be played next. Excellent service, friendly, dependable. Definite A+++.

Excellent, superb, magnificent, I did not have to worry about a thing. DJ Profeta was in control. He kept everyone dancing and interacting,all I had to do was relax and enjoy my family and freinds.
A true professional Knows exactly what to do even with a diversified group
as we had. He had excellent precision and timing. Thank you for making our event fun and exciting . We all had a blast. Look forward to seeing him in future events

I loved the Music Kitchen...my D.J. Jose was excellent, he knew exactly what to do and when to do it, he took his time and worked with me to make sure my wedding music was a true success. Me and my husband strongly recommend the Music Kitchen. My party consisted of a variety of people who listen to different types of music and the Music Kitchen was able to provide music for everyones taste. The Music Kitchen proved us with everything exactly as we requested. He keep the people moving without being overly intrusive (as requested). His bilingual capabilities sure made the event fun for all. He was extreamly professional. He arrived early (over 75 miles away)and was able to set up and move his equiptment from outdoor patios to the interior reception rooms without even being noticed. As a matter of fact, this Dj and his company was much better then the DJ at my daughters wedding that cost twice the amount. Thanks for being part of the team that made my son's and daughter-in-laws wedding a very special day.

The Wedding Kitchen was wonderful. Our first experience with Jose was great. We had interviewed a lot of DJs and no one had a setup like them where they can mix music live during your meeting. That really gave us a sense of confidence with The Wedding Kitchen.
DJ Alvin was amazing. He had people up and dancing all night long, even after their shoes had given up on them! He's professional, punctual and poised. The whole night went smoothly thanks to him. He was there for anything we needed, even if it had nothing to do with DJing. He made sure he understood our musical tastes, helped us with advice on anything from the timeline to music choices. They get an A+.

Jose- you did a great job at my daughters' first birthday--party. I thank you for following my lead with the "Halloween Theme" and for taking charge with the festivities. My guests were so happy, the kids were thrilled and everyone enjoyed the celebration because you tied it all together. You played a great variety of music which included all of the Halloween themed songs and scary sounds. It was great. To see the party all over on our video makes me appreciate you more! The music kitchen was fantastic!
My sons graduation party had all ages and by some great miracle, The Music Kitchen was able to accomodate all the children, teens, and veteran music lovers. Following their performance, I received many compliments and many requests for their contact information. The Music Kitchen was prompt at arriving early enough to learn the obstacles of my landscaping and guess what?....The Music Kitchen came prepared with extra cables and extension cords to work around the landscape. They were so technologically intuitive that their timing for presenting the storybook after sundown was perfect! I must commend them because doing an outdoor event is generally not easy. The way they set up their station was very professional. I was not interrupting not once!
I am also looking forward to having them host my daughter's sweet sixteen. I would recommend The Music Kitchen to everyone.

As a meeting organizer for my company, I was very pleased to just tell Jose from The Music Kitchen that we wanted karaoke, gave him some lead on the type of music to play and the age range of the crowd we had and he did a great job. All of this was done via phone and email, we never actually met. I placed all of my trust in his professionalism and it resulted in a great party. Everyone had an awesome time.
If we ever need DJ/karaoke services again, I'm sure I will be calling him again.

We were very pleased with The Music Kitchen. We hired them for our wedding reception. Jose was very accommodating of our requests. My husband is Irish, so we wanted to add a bit of Irish music to the program, and Jose made sure to work it in. He was punctual, set up in a perfect location, and helped maintain a good atmosphere. You can certainly book The Music Kitchen with confidence!

I am very pleased with Jose and The Music Kitchen. Our wedding reception went very smoothly with non-stop dancing the whole night, thanks to the great tunes played by Jose. Jose was very accommodating throughout the night and in preparation for the reception.

Jose puts on a great show and is an excellent MC. He is a true professional. His accessibility and willingness to meet ahead of the event in order to work on details is also an excellent service. Our only problem was that we twice tried to upload our song selections via the website prior to our event and The Music Kitchen was unable to retrieve the songs we desired for our wedding. As such, many of the songs we wanted to hear were not played at our party. Nonetheless, Jose did an excellent job of keeping the party going. We highly recommend him!

Thank you for the positive feedback. Honestly this is the first I here about music request issues.Simply to notify future clients, all music request MUST be in system BEFORE SAID cut off date (10 days prior) in order for it to save to data base as stated in our service agreement.
We did play most REQUEST (SAMEDAY and emailed) and got in as much as possible in the time frame allowed.
Our lines of communication are always open and we encourage clients to contact us with issues regarding "On-line party planning". Adios!

Jose you did a great job. We really enjoyed your enthusiasm and effort to get people to enjoy themselves. Some of the things you did were truly original. The music choice was also great. Thanks for working with us to get our songs played during the ceremony and coctail hour. The website was extremly helpful when it came to planning. I hired Dj Jose Olivieras (dj/mc) for my Saturday, June 23, 2007 wedding. We had a very mixed crowd. I requested hip hop dance music and my husband requested latin music. After I emailed him my music worksheet, Jose suggested that I use another DJ (Alvin) on his Staff that could accomodate my music taste/mixed party better. Then, I would also, get a 2nd person to MC (David). We were okay with it because DJ Jose Olivieras was very professional throughout. He always answered in a timely manner unlike other DJ who forgot about you for several months.
So on the day of the wedding, MC David took time to ask me questions about anything he wasn't clear about (I had a lottery game and a Chinese glass tapping tradition). At the party, MC David was such a friendly/funny host that a friend thought he was one of my husband's friend. I would give the MC above average rating. Only thing was they skip the mother-son/ father-daughter dance so we had to tell them to put it in later. But as for the DJ, I was given another DJ Charlie and he didn't really balance out the music choice as I requested. The crowd was mostly mixed and only 1/4 latin but he played mostly latin songs. Only when my sister requested some hip hop, did he change the music. The dj was average but I have seen worse. For the price I paid, I did expect a better dj. But overall my party was still fun and my guests enjoyed it.

Thank you for your comments. As stated I believed a two person set-up for this party was the correct way to go. Instructions very specific and difficult for a one man show like I often do. A late in season booking didn't help the process either. I did give client an MC at no cost for the "reassignment". Its her wedding after all and I aim to please.
Apparently the groom wanted the formal dance, mentioned above, at a different time than bride wanted (after dinner or so). It was not forgotten.
DJ C played as divered as he thought posible to maintain a flow on the floor. I was told that he did play about half latin half english BUT at the groom and/or his families r
