Absolutely the best choice I could have made. We couldn't believe all the great comments we got, not only about they're music, much of it live during cocktail and dinner, but the announcements were great too! I think he got a couple of other gigs out of this already. I know my sister wants him for her wedding next year. Great job!

Hihg Class Brass was on time, played for the agreed upon time period; no hidden charges or fees; brought all of the necessary equipment; professional. Would like a little more comfort with involving, exciting the audience to dance to the music. EXCELLENT horn playing during the dinner hour.

Actually, the DJ didn't bring our song, Stevie Wonder 'I Believe', to dance to. We had several communications between the two of us and my husband, and he claims he 'never received the emails stating the name of our song'. Funny, I saved every email correspondence and the very first one he responds that he has that song...and my husband has some correspondence too that proves he did receive that correspondence (we can forward if necessary).
Also, he waited too long to tell everyone to eat, the servers told him 5 times to announce dinner was served and he kept saying one more song. And, we had sent him a list of 'classic rock' artists we would like him to play-obviously he didn't receive that correspondence either because he played AC/DC and Madonna at my wedding.
So, the only good part about the whole experience was the pre-ceremony and the ceremony-he did do good there. But the rest of the wedding I was not pleased with his performantce and I wanted to put on the Tahoe classic rock station, anything would have been better than the songs he was playing-I didn't even want to dance at my own wedding.
He didn't ruin my wedding, I had so many other things that out-weighed his performance, but he wasn't the DJ for my wedding...

Wow, this is really a surprise to read her comments!!! I sent them many requests for information, and NEVER did get my 'Wedding Reception Planner' back from them. That document is what I use to plan music for every event. Her husband only the week before the event, after many unanswered emails from me, gave me the 2 songs for the ceremony. There was no information in that email about the first dance. Information from them was so scarce, in fact, that I found out the day of the event that I had to take a 2 mile trolley ride up the mountain to the party location. Not a problem since I arrived over 5 hours early to set up, but I think that would be something to mention

Ron was ABSOLUTELY amazing in every single way! The fact that he can play horns which adds a great deal to his DJ music is wonderful. I had so many positive comments from our guests. I had a friend performing a special song for my husband and Ron worked beautifully with my friend with set up, sound tests, etc.

Ron is a great, talented, DJ and musician. He accomdated all our requests, and even showed up to our wedding rehearsal to make sure everything would go smoothly the next day. We loved the live music (trumpet, saxophone) that he played during our cocktail hour and dinner. He kept the party and dancing going as well. We highly recommend him. Thanks Ron!

Ron Davis was excellent for our wedding. His unique combination of live music and DJing added a special touch to our day. Ron also went above and beyond by preparing a wonderful 5-year time capsule with input from our guests. Overall, his stylistic music selections got our guests pumped to party with us all night.
