Daydream Entertainment (Texas Pete) was such a blessing to us! My husband Jacob and I had an amazing & magical time at our wedding due to our DJ Texas Pete.
Pete was so accommodating, thoughtful, & charismatic. Unfortunately, the power went out at our venue. Pete was our saving grace at that point. He was working with us to try and think of what we can do, he was a great advisor in a time that we could have panicked. But he really walked us through our options with professionalism & wisdom. With many prayers from everyone - including Pete- the power was restored!

Pete was a wonderful Emcee and DJ. Without him we would have had a very different wedding with the schedule, timing, speeches, and walk down the aisle. Pete took the time to learn about us our guests and what we wanted for our own twist on wedding events. He really helped bring our element of 'us' into the feel of our wedding.
He absolutely poured his heart and soul into our wedding and really catered to our story and our guests. We're so happy we were able to meet and have him in our lives, he helped make our day really special.
10/10 Would recommend Daydream Entertainment in a heartbeat to any party, wedding, celebration, or event you hold.

It was evident that Pete took a lot of time time to make our reception fit us and our guests. Our guests were engaged from the start and continued to be throughout the night. For our bridal party intro, our guests were amazed how personal Pete made the experience by giving a brief bio for each member. Everyone loved the preface to our first dance, in which Pete gave a summary of our relationship,deemed our “love story”. Our guests were engaged throughout the night, thanks to Pete’s ability to determine when it was appropriate to initiate different components of our plan. We still get compliments on how Pete managed our reception memorable and personal.

I was a very anxious bride, I've never planned anything like a wedding in my life and I am forever grateful to Pete for coordinating everything and always putting my mind at ease. He planned everything down to to minute for our wedding and it was the absolute best day of our lives. He shared his timeline with the venue, photographer, and videographer, making sure everyone was on the same page. I am the party coordinator for a large local company. We recently had a very large party with an American Idol theme. We needed a DJ that could MC the event for us as closely to Ryan Seacrest as possible and Pete was the one that we chose. He completely blew us away with his level of talent. He was the perfect fit. Pete was extremely professional and stayed in constant contact with me from the very first day I booked him. He ensured that all of our expectations were met and then exceeded. I have been coordinating parties and weddings for quite sometime and I must say that Pete is the best I have seen. He is the complete package for any type of event.

My husband and I used Pete Daye from Daydream Entertainment for our wedding! The reason why we chose Pete over the other DJ's on this site is that Pete is a genuine, thoughtful person who truly is passionate about what he does and is excellent at what he does. Pete met with us a couple of times before the wedding to figure out our personalities, our vision for the wedding, and our likes/dislikes for music. He helped us to create a coordinated event with the rest of the vendors. Pete went above and beyond with his comprehensive plan for the wedding and was our "Master of Ceremonies" to make sure the wedding went off without a glitch. Pete comes highly recommended!

Pete was amazing! He met with us several times throughout the planning process and always assured us. He came through during the wedding we loved him, everyone loved him and our venue said he has the best dj they had seen before. Pete is absolutely amazing, when you book him you get so much more than a person who plays music from behind a booth. You get someone who cares! Pete truly cares that your day is 110% perfect. He kept everything on schedule and made adjustments whenever necessary. Pete kept people on the dance floor and had many different options for us. We didn't want a traditional ceremony and reception and what he did for us was truly unique. Pete took time to learn about my husband and I, and before wedding day he became someone we truly care about. I recommend every person have a first meeting with Pete! We planned a wedding from out of state and Pete greatly reduced the stress we were feeling from that. He checked to see how we were doing, made a point of getting to know us, and went out of his way to make the day run smoothly. Family members said it wouldn't have been possible to go without a hitch had it not been for his hard work. Pete told us that he would make sure everything ran on time and that everyone would be where they needed to be. That is precisely what happened. The guests were more than entertained by his playlist and all said how much fun they had at the wedding.
We can't praise Pete enough- we couldn't have done it without him! Thank you so much!

When you hire Pete you are getting far more than a DJ. The ceremony required perfect timing and he delivered. It was like a scene from a movie. Pete was excellent to work with from start to finish. He guided us with the song selections that would best fit what we were trying to accomplish. Not only were we impressed with his organization the other vendors involved commented on how well prepared and organized he was. Pete is a professional in ever way. I would highly recommend him!

Pete is absolutely amazing. He is not just a DJ he really is a event planner/director. He keeps your guests entertained from beginning to end. He keeps the night flowing throughout. There were people on the dance floor all night. I couldn't come up with one single complaint even if I tried. i was able to sit back and enjoy. He was accommodating and and truly made the night special for My Daughter and Son in Law. Hiring Pete was probably the best decision we made throughout the entering planning processes. Pete was absolutely amazing from day one. He was recommended to us by one of my husbands friends, and went above our expectations. He made sure all of my questions were answered, and made sure everything was well planned out. My kids and I had a special surprise for my husband and he helped plan everything the way I wanted it to be done. He kept in touch with us to see if there was any thing we needed him to do. Did I mention he is so much fun. My cheeks hurt from our first meeting. I will always recommend Pete for any special events. Trust me, if you go with him as your DJ, you will be blown away. Pete is the man. Came early - stayed late - MC skills were excellent - song choices were great. He was the total DJ package. I would highly recommend his services to anybody and everybody needing a DJ for their party. He kindly took requests which was a nice touch. The BOSE system he used was really what blew me away the most. Clear crisp sound to the entire room without blowing away people up front. Let us use his wireless microphone as well. Super dude and definitely a pleasure working with you. Great job!

Where do I start?? Pete was amazing!!! I'm a planner, a detail oriented person and Pete and I worked beautifully together in planning for my daughter's wedding!! What I loved about Pete was his genuine interest in getting to know the bride and groom personally. I thought Pete had a great point, who wants to show up at their wedding having never met the person providing one of the most critical jobs of any wedding, the DJ!! He wanted to be sure the bride and groom were completely comfortable with him!!! From his pre-planning, arriving at the wedding sight 2.5 hours before the wedding to setup and keeping the wedding festivities on time, he was the BOMB!!!

On our search for a DJ we were unsure of who we would find and what we would get. I think we spoke to 10 DJs. When we met with Pete it was a 3 hour meeting and it wasn't one of those meetings that you wished would end. The three hours just flew by! We were about a few months out from our actual wedding. After we met with him my husband was already saying yes because Pete was already taking care of me before we became his client. Pete has a way to make you feel calm about your wedding. Pete was more than a DJ. Pete is your coordinator too. Looking for a DJ is very important and Pete is the man! Pete can read a crowd and assess. Pete is just unbelievable!

The experience with Pete Daye was truly amazing!!! Through Gigmasters and selected 6 djs to contact me. Pete was the first to email and call me. After speaking with him, I contacted the others, but they did not seem as enthusiastic as Pete. I knew from his confidence during our first phone call that he was the PERFECT choice. Over the planning phase he helped so much with the structure of our reception. He truly made it one of the best experiences of our lives!!!
