Durant is awesome and so accomodating. We had him for Burn's night and our Sunday morning church service. Talented, professional, and a delight to have with us. We would hire him again and recommend him to anyone.

I had Durant play my parents 50th anniversary party and he was outstanding. Durant was more than I expected, he was a big hit with not only the adults but especially the children. When he came marching in playing the 200 plus people stopped, listened and enjoyed his playing. Thanks to Durant again. - The McFadden Family

Durant was great! We asked him last minute to attend the rehearsal at the church and he was very accomidating. The day of the wedding was so special for us to have him there. My husband and I received so many compliments. He came along to the reception and had a good time with all our friends and family. Thank you again Durant for making our wedding day so memorable. Durant was great. He was a pleasure to work with from the start. He helped pick the music for our wedding by making suggestions as to who should walk to what. In the end, it was our decision, but his suggestions were very helpful. He arrived early and played for our wedding and cocktail hour even though the temperature was about 98 degrees. He was very friendly with the wedding party and the guests. If we're ever in need of a piper again, we will call Durant. We highly recommend him for any event. Durant was a great addition to our event. We had some inclement weather which affected his performance getting off on time but once he arrived safely, he was great and everyone loved the pipes.

It was indeed a special touch to have Durant McCurley play for my daughter's wedding. It was especially beautiful to hear him while we were experiencing the receiving line outside the church. It was difficult to hear him when he played inside the church and what we heard was somewhat squeaky, but outdoors was absolutely wonderful!!!!!

Durant was absolutely wonderful, and was so helpful in making this a surprise for my new husband. Mr. McCurley was very professional throughout the whole process. He played at our wedding as our guests entered and exited the church. He was even nice enough to show up a little early and his playing was outstanding. We were very happy with Mr. McCurley and we would recommend him to anyone who is interested in hiring him.

Durant was great..showed up on time, and did what we wanted, the only thing was that several of our guests said that he kept playing the same song over and over, i didn't notice as i was too busy with my guests, but we had several people tell us that he played Amazing Grace over and over...my son was very happy with the touch of a bagpiper at our engagement party...

Durant was very accommodative in returning phone calls as the correspndence was long distance (CT-NC). When the wedding day came, he arrived with plenty of time to iron out any kinks in planning, and after a quick pre-game huddle between Durant and I, the ceremony went off with a bang as he set the mood with some wonderful pipes, and honest-to-god authentic attire from Scotland. If anyone is thinking about adding some bagpipes to their wedding ceremony, and you're in the CT-MA area then I highly recommend Mr. Durant McCurley, as he is very affordable, punctual, professional, and plyable, with a good sense of how these things should happen.
