Durant was wonderful to have come play for us for our sons 40th birthday party. He showed up on the time we had requested and gave a great performance. He is a nice gentleman and we would certainly hire him for future events.

Mr. Mccurley was easy to schedule on short notice, and beatifully played the songs that were important to my grandmother at her burial. Our family was touched by his playing, and I'd recommend him to anyone who needs to hire a piper.

Durant was great. It was a rainy day and he piped his heart out, despite the weather. Many of my guests commented on how great it was to have a bag piper at the wedding, it really gave the event a sense of significance.

I had Durant play my parents 50th anniversary party and he was outstanding. Durant was more than I expected, he was a big hit with not only the adults but especially the children. Durant was great! We asked him last minute to attend the rehearsal at the church and he was very accomidating. The day of the wedding was so special for us to have him there. Durant was great. He was a pleasure to work with from the start. He helped pick the music for our wedding by making suggestions as to who should walk to what. In the end, it was our decision, but his suggestions were very helpful. He arrived early and played for our wedding and cocktail hour even though the temperature was about 98 degrees. He was very friendly with the wedding party and the guests. If we're ever in need of a piper again, we will call Durant. We highly recommend him for any event. Durant was a great addition to our event. We had some inclement weather which affected his performance getting off on time but once he arrived safely, he was great and everyone loved the pipes.

It was indeed a special touch to have Durant McCurley play for my daughter's wedding. It was especially beautiful to hear him while we were experiencing the receiving line outside the church. It was difficult to hear him when he played inside the church and what we heard was somewhat squeaky, but outdoors was absolutely wonderful!!!!!
