Durant was wonderful! He is a professional who wanted to make our daughter's wedding as special as possible. He was easy to work with and quite agreeable to changes that my daughter wanted to make. Our guests were very moved by his performance. I was so very pleased that Durant was our bagpiper!

Mr. McCurley was very professional throughout the whole process. He played at our wedding as our guests entered and exited the church. He was even nice enough to show up a little early and his playing was outstanding. We were very happy with Mr. McCurley and we would recommend him to anyone who is interested in hiring him.

Durant was great..showed up on time, and did what we wanted, the only thing was that several of our guests said that he kept playing the same song over and over, i didn't notice as i was too busy with my guests, but we had several people tell us that he played Amazing Grace over and over...my son was very happy with the touch of a bagpiper at our engagement party...

Durant went above and beyond what we had asked of him! He arrived early and was very concerned about doing everything just as we envisioned for our wedding. He was professional and talented. Many, many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed listening to him! He was the perfect touch for our outdoor, fall ceremony. Durant was very accommodative in returning phone calls as the correspndence was long distance (CT-NC). When the wedding day came, he arrived with plenty of time to iron out any kinks in planning, and after a quick pre-game huddle between Durant and I, the ceremony went off with a bang as he set the mood with some wonderful pipes, and honest-to-god authentic attire from Scotland. If anyone is thinking about adding some bagpipes to their wedding ceremony, and you're in the CT-MA area then I highly recommend Mr. Durant McCurley, as he is very affordable, punctual, professional, and plyable, with a good sense of how these things should happen.

Durant was easy to work with and responded to phone calls and emails prompts prior to the wedding. He arrived at the our wedding on time and played well. He also stayed to enjoy our wedding reception festivities...food, booze and even made an appearance in our photo booth! I guess just know that he counts as a head when paying the bill...it would have been nice for him to ask the hosts if he could stay for the duration. Other than that, we were pleased.

I hired Durant McCurley as a surprise to my husband on our wedding day. He was incredible, funny, talented & accommodating. He showed up an hour early for my ceremony. This bagpiper is a genius! He made the party fantastic with his wonderful piping. Everybody stopped in amazement when he started to play. Every song he piped was applauded! We were so very satisfied with this professional musician.
