If you are seeking an exceptionally talented, consummately professional, wonderfully courteous, and all-around fantastic performer for your special event, then Robert Mitchell is your man! Mr. Mitchell played at our wedding on the Spirit of Washington, and his wonderful music was the absolute perfect touch. If you have even an ounce of Scottish blood in you, or if you just appreciate great music, then Mr. Mitchell's amazing skill on the bagpipes will send shivers down your spine! He was great about communicating, and he had great suggestions for the event. We cannot say enough good things about Mr. Mitchell, and we can't wait to hear him play again! Alba gu bràth!

Mr. Mitchell played bagpipes at our wedding in Rehoboth Beach Delaware. He was on time, played excellently, and accommodated all of our requests. All of our guests commented on how nice it was to have a bagpipe player for the wedding procession and when leaving the church. I recommend him without reservation.

Robert Mitchell was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was extremely professional and his playing was outstanding. He arrived early to the ceremony site to warm up dressed in his kilt and traveled about 5 miles away to play at our cocktail hour. We got many compliments about the music both during the ceremony and the cocktail hour. He was extremely approachable and was more than willing to answers any questions that guests posed. I would definitely hire him again for another event.

I unfortunately did not get to meet him in person as the bride, however I could not have been more pleased with his performance, professionalism and talent. He made my special day, most dramatically emotional and added the special something I was looking for. My (now) husband said when the doors opened, the piper began, it took the breath out of him. Robert Mitchell was very sensitive to our wish for a softer sound in the church and used the border pipes. He was extremely professional, worked well with the organist and pianist, and provided a lovely Irish touch to my daughter's wedding. Afterwards, he played the bagpipes outside while everyone gathered to greet the new couple with bubbles as they hopped into their limo. In addition, he provided a transition to the reception by playing the bagpipes outside the entrance. We are thankful to Robert and heard many positive comments about him from our guests.

Bob played the borderpipes at the recessional and processional at our wedding. He accommodated our request for a non-traditional song, When then Saints go Marching In, for the recessional. A couple people said it was the best rendition of the song they had ever heard and many others mentioned how stirring his performance was. Overall Bob's performance really gave our wedding that extra special something we were looking for. I highly recommend Bob for your wedding or special event.
