Robert is a professional. He listened to what we wanted and made some suggestions that were far better than our original plan. He demonstrated flexibility as the event went on. On his own initiative, he worked with the sound engineer for the large band, that would be playing later in the evening, to diffuse the point source of his bagpipe so that the sound was more even for all of the guests to enjoy. We look forward to engaging him another time.

Robert Mitchell has given my family a priceless gift. At the end of my Dad's celebration of life, his rendition of Amazing Grace brought tears to our eyes and filled our hearts with joy. He played another piece or two as people came out of the church, and the entire crowd was mesmerized. Thank you, thank you, Mr. Mitchell!!

Robert is a very nice man who made a point of coming early to get the lay of the land and practice, he was very professional.

Thank you for your Review. When a bagpiper arrives at a dinner, wedding, or even a funeral it is necessary to play the instrument for a few minutes beforehand to stabilize the 4 reeds. Each reed will have its own temperature and moisture level needed for optimum sound. This blowing in period is necessary for the very best sound and is often mistaken for "practice". I practice daily at home, and always tune my instrument in order to deliver the very best sound possible. Robert Mitchell

Robert was a delight to work with, and his talent as a musician are first rate. He played everything we asked, and his music was a beautiful accompaniment to my mothers services. He was very professional, and played beautifully for our moms funeral, everyone was satisfied with his performance. It was definitely shorter then I expected. I thought he would’ve played a little longer of amazing grace, but its fine no big deal. He definitely gave a great experience to honor our mom!

Robert was a fantastic addition to our wedding, and added a unique element that will absolutely be remembered by the attendees. He was a pleasure to work with before the event, played the bagpipes amazingly well (a friend is a series bagpiper and he noted that Robert was very talented), and accommodated music and picture requests thus making sure everyone was thrilled. Bob made a Grand Entrance to the party and created an atmosphere that lasted throughout the event! Not only is he talented, his choice of Tunes were spot-on and his persona was exciting. He gave history of the Pipes, noted the different types of Pipes he played and why. He made our event his own... Bob played the borderpipes at the recessional and processional at our wedding. He accommodated our request for a non-traditional song, When then Saints go Marching In, for the recessional. A couple people said it was the best rendition of the song they had ever heard and many others mentioned how stirring his performance was. Overall Bob's performance really gave our wedding that extra special something we were looking for. I highly recommend Bob for your wedding or special event.

Robert Mitchell was very sensitive to our wish for a softer sound in the church and used the border pipes. He was extremely professional, worked well with the organist and pianist, and provided a lovely Irish touch to my daughter's wedding. Afterwards, he played the bagpipes outside while everyone gathered to greet the new couple with bubbles as they hopped into their limo. In addition, he provided a transition to the reception by playing the bagpipes outside the entrance. We are thankful to Robert and heard many positive comments about him from our guests.

Robert Mitchell was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was extremely professional and his playing was outstanding. He arrived early to the ceremony site to warm up dressed in his kilt and traveled about 5 miles away to play at our cocktail hour. We got many compliments about the music both during the ceremony and the cocktail hour. He was extremely approachable and was more than willing to answers any questions that guests posed. I would definitely hire him again for another event.
