We were married in Telluride, Colorado. We hired Jim Lynch and were over the top pleased with our experience (Michael wasn't able to make the trip to Telluride and instead, put us in touch with Jim). Jim played at the end of our ceremony and then escorted us as we walked to our dinner. We loved it, our family loved it, and the folks in downtown Telluride loved it! A great memory. Thank you, Jim!!!

It was a great surprise for our guests to have a piper walk in on New Year's Eve playing a tune! So much fun! He was very personal, professional and answered many questions from the kids present. We all learned a ton about his instrument, outfit, songs, history, etc. It couldn't have been better! Thank you!

I would highly recommend Michael Lancaster for your event! The pipes added the perfect element to our wedding and all of our patrons commented on how amazing it was. Michael was very accommodating to our requests and worked with us to add the perfect music arrangement. As a bonus, he insisted that he stay after the ceremony to play the pipes and lead us in to our reception! Michael is very professional, organized, knowledgeable and a world class musician. Again, I would definitely recommend Michael Lancaster to anyone for any event!

I'm a little late to reviewing, but we absolutely LOVE having Mr. Lancaster at our event! We've worked with him for this event for a few years now, and everyone always raves about how wonderful his music is. He's really the highlight of our event. He makes it super easy for us -- he brings all of his own equipment, and gets set up very quickly. He's always very friendly and cheerful, and a joy to be around. His music is just entrancing, and it really helps fill the space we have our event it. I highly recommend hiring Mr. Lancaster for any event where you need live, unobtrusive music. It's just always pleasant, and a really excellent experience.

I only got to see Michael for a brief moment before the ceremony. He was cordial, on time, and polite. Even though I didn't see Michael for long, I heard him playing the entire time and it was lovely. The pipes and guitar really set the atmosphere perfectly and I would highly recommend Michael to anyone looking for a pipe or guitar player.

Because of a conflict Michael provided Ian Jackson for my husband's funeral. He was wonderful. Ian and his music were comforting on this very sad day. A delay was caused by the cemetery and Ian was so understanding. I particularly appreciated his comforting words as we left the cemetery. It was superb and will never be forgotten. Thanks for providing a wonderful piper for our service.

Michael played for my wedding and he was amazing! He played Canon in D for my walk down the path to Sapphire Point and Here Comes the Sun for the recessional. He also played some beautiful prelude music and continued playing afterwards to wind things down. I was told by multiple guests that his playing MADE the day! I would highly recommend Michael to play for your wedding or special event.

Mr. Lancaster performed for my father's funeral. Everyone afterward said that it added to his "celebration of life" ceremony. It was also a very cold day in Colorado, and Mr. Lancaster arrived in his kilt standing out in the frigid weather with no complaints. Thank you sir!

This is the second time we've been lucky enough to have Mr. Lancaster at our event, and it was absolutely perfect! He always plays a beautiful suite of songs, and always has a smile on his face! People were constantly complementing him to us, and we gave his name to every single one of them. He's very communicative, and very willing to fulfill whatever needs we have for our event. As long as he'll still have us, we will always hire him for our musical needs!!
