Michael played for a birthday party at our home where we had 30-some guests. Michael was efficient in bringing in his gear and setting up, and started playing just as our first guests walked in the door. He is a master with all of my favorite finger-picking guitar songs, like Classical Gas and the Allman Brothers' Melissa. We had requested a song not on his playlist ahead of time, and while he told us that it takes a considerable amount of time to get a new song up to performance level, Michael graciously learned the song and played it. Our guests were impressed with him, and complimented him (and our choice). We'll definitely call on Michael again.

We contacted Michael very early and he was most helpful in answering our questions since this was a destination wedding. He jumped from performing at the ceremony, to bag-piping the bride and groom out to guitar music at our cocktail hour. I wished I had kept him longer for music during dinner as it would have been more appealing than the DJ music. Lesson learned. He learned and played a special song for when my daughter marched down the aisle with her Dad He was very open to all our thoughts. We thank him for making the wedding special. Carolyn Donnell

Michael was wonderful to work with - stress free and able to provide everything I asked from him for our ceremony! And, I didn't even meet him before the wedding! I found out later that he also handled my mom's request for playing bagpipe at our cocktail hour, which was a nice surprise! Without hesitation, I would wholeheartedly recommend him to friends who want a great guitarist and/or bagpiper!!! We got tons of compliments!

Michael was amazing. I could definitely tell that he's very experienced with not only his instrumental skills, but his skills in planning and performing at live events.
We had Michael play acoustic guitar for the majority of our wedding, then asked him to break out the bagpipes for our grand entrance into the reception room. It was a surprise for the attendees and everyone was completely blown away.
We live in Illinois, so our Colorado wedding was a destination wedding. Michael was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond via e-mail.
He also supplied the mics for our officiant and speakers.
Long story short -- I would definitely recommend him.

This is Michael's second performance for us. We never considered anyone else. He is an excellent piper and ultra easy to work with. Always on time and ready to serve and always prepared.
Michael is cordial, flexible and enjoyable to converse with.

very professional and compassionate. I dont have a huge understanding of what a great bagpiper should sound like but, to me, Michael was great. Would certainly recommend to others.

Michael's music was the highlight of our St Patrick's Day event. He was professional, on time, played perfectly, was flexible with our agenda and a genuine pleasure to listen to and work with. I'd hire him again without hesitation.

Mr. Lancaster was simply wonderful at our event! It was pretty casual, and more of a walk-through type of event, but he played the guitar beautifully, and did a great job of filling the silence.
When I was concerned with our outlets, he waited to plug stuff in until I could check, and he was very accommodating with me bugging him to make sure he was okay (I was very nervous!).
If we ever have another event hosted by our company, Mr. Lancaster will absolutely be my first pick for a musician. He made the event really enjoyable! Everyone (from me, to guests, to the building manager (!)) was very impressed. It was just great! Can't say enough good things. --Brittany E.

Unfortunately, Michael was way ahead of the people leaving the church. This resulted in not many people being able to experience his music. I would recommend that he wait before leading the procession or at least be mindful of people not following him!
