I hired Michael to play for a fundraising event held in a residential garden. His communication & professionalism were fantastic & much appreciated. He arrived early to set up his gear and interacted wonderfully with guests in an intimate setting. He's a true master of the guitar & provided flamenco music, per our agreement, throughout the evening. Guests truly enjoyed the event & the music played a major role in setting the tone. I would not hesitate to hire Michael for my next event & would highly recommend him!

Michael did a great job at my Mom's Celebration of Life! He played great ambient music and then everyone had fun with the special requests and he knew all of them. I highly recommend Michael for your next event!

Michael McCabe is an excellent musician, and greatly enhanced our daughter's wedding. Our guests commented on his talent and professionalism. Our daughter's musical tastes are quite eclectic and he was able to meet all of her stylistic choices including a difficult recessional piece. Michael was wonderful to work with. He initiated communication as soon as I booked him and began starting on the song-list for my wedding right away. My ceremony was on a beach and he provided sound equipment for both himself and my officiant. All the guests were very impressed with his talent and diversity. We all loved his music so much that we didn't want to switch over to the ipod playlist we had created for our reception. Thankfully, Michael was willing to stay and play for an extra couple hours. His music before, during, and after our ceremony really helped make the day incredibly special and absolutely perfect. Thanks again for everything Michael!

We couldn't have been happier with Michael's performance! As soon as he started playing his prelude music, this harried mother-of-the-bride relaxed. He arrived early to set up and double-check our plans. He even prepared a classical piece my daughter requested that wasn't in his repertoire. Michael's personality added warmth to our occasion and set a perfect tone for both the ceremony and the reception. We had the pleasure of having Michael play at our wedding and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a very talented, flexible, and professional musician for their wedding/event.
Great to work with and very professional. Before the wedding was always easy to contact and timely in communication. Went out of his way to ensure that the music fit our tastes and the mood of the event. Showed up early, set up his own equipment, and even set up the mic for the our officiant.
The music was of course beautiful, absolutely as good as the samples. Importantly, he was fun to have around and seemed to enjoy what he was doing.

Michael McCabe performed at our outdoor wedding and indoor reception. He is a superb guitarist who played along while my niece sang. He played a great variety of music, including some beautiful (and technical!) gypsy jazz. The most enjoyable part of the experience was that Michael is one of the nicest people I've met in a long time. He was very easy to work with and genuinely interested in providing an experience we would be happy with. Finding him was one of the best things we did to plan our event!

Mr. McCabe arrived early, happy, outgoing and friendly. He set up and started playing right on time and everyone was very impressed with his level of talent. He interacted with the guests and did an acoustic lullaby for my daughter who is eight months pregnant. He took requests and even performed an obscure piece with lots of harmonics that I had mentioned to him on the phone weeks before.
I can't say enough good things about Mr. McCabe. Hire him for your event! You'll be very glad you did. He played 1/2 hour longer than he had to and closed his set with a remarkable rendition of Hotel California. Two thumbs way up!
