He was the perfect entertainment for our reception. He made great music selections and took requests from our guests. Many guests commented on his talent and music. He played at just the right volume for the size of our room. You could hear him perfectly but he didn’t overwhelm the space.
Michael is awesome and I wish him great success with future events.

Michaal perform at Lower Columbia College on May 31st 2005 12:00-1:30pm at our 2nd annual Intercultural Week celebration. There was a good showing of students who came to see Michael's Celtic music performance. Many students had comment to me that they really enjoy his music and that it brought a different sound on campus.
Michael was professional in his performance at Lower Columbia College
and we would not hesitate to bring him back should we need a performer for our event.

He played Little Wing by Jimi Hendrix, as I was walking down the aisle. Awesome- our wedding was a success and I contribute a huge ammount toward Michael McCabe.
The guests loved him, and even started singing to his jams!
He was very accomodating, and professional. I would hire him again for a special function.

Michael McCabe was truely a wonderful pick for our birthday party entertainment. He played a variety of instrumental music, all of which were very good. Many of our guests enjoyed the evening as Michael played on, he drew quite a crowd. He's friendly, extremely talented and a great person to get you through an evening of listening pleasure. I highly reccommend him for all occasions.

We were very pleased with the variety of music that Michael covered. He is an extremely skilled player. I had numerous comments after the party about how good he sounded. During a raffle we had Michael improvise as winners were announced and prizes given out. He did a great job with the various kids that were there who wanted to dance as well.
All in all Michael's playing exceeded my expectations.

Michael was wonderful! We had a small, intimate family wedding reception and he provided the most beautiful guitar music for the cocktail hour and dinner music. He went to special lengths to make sure he played the music we requested and he was incredibly nice and accomodating. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants beautiful flamenco styled and original guitar music. He is VERY talented!

Michael was great. We chose him about a month before our wedding after browsing through his sample songs on his website. We asked of him a few choice songs for the ceremony in which he played beautifully. He also read the our guests well and softly entertained them while they mingled and were being seated prior to the ceremony. After the ceremony Michael stopped us and greeted us before taking off to make sure we were pleased and gave us some copies of his recordings! Definitely pleased with Michael as a performer and recommend hiring him for your wedding!

Michael arrived at the venue at least an hour early to set up and get a feel for the room. His selection of music was perfect for the group that had been described to him. Very accommodating and easy going personality. I believe a member of the audience will be using him later on this year. We would use him again in a heartbeat. He played diversified music and in the end stayed longer than expected. Thank you Michael very much.

Michael was absolutely incredible from start to finish. He played our wedding this past weekend and I was so impressed by his enthusiasm for the event, his professionalism and his talent. We asked Michael to learn about 12 new songs (he learned all of them) and his range of musical knowledge was very impressive. Many at our event commented on how much they enjoyed the music above all else. He was so great we are going to see if we can book him for our upcoming reception. Michael was incredibly professional and engaging as we worked with him for our wedding. He was able to play all of the songs we requested, and it was beautiful. We have been listening to his music at home now, too! Our guests loved him, and my only regret is that we didn't have him play longer! Michael was really a nice guy. At the time of us getting together to choose songs, I had mentioned one to him in passing from a band he wasn't all to familiar with (SOAD) and said that he would check them out. Come the big day, he had not only listed to them he had practiced playing one of their songs! Best well rounded performer I have ever encountered... would highly recommend!

Michael was really great to work with. Kind, communicated well, positive and talented. I gave 1 four-star rating only because he had a lot of back up effects with his songs. I wasn't expecting this. His acoustic guitar playing is so good I wish he would have just played the guitar. Overall, the party was a hit and everyone enjoyed his music. Michael arrived on time to set up, came with a couple of attire options both very appropriate to the event. I ask for Spanish guitar music which he nailed. He took requests from my guests all of who remarked on his exceptional musical abilities. He is extremely versatile with many genres. Very pleasant and accommodating. Would definitely hire him again.

From the beginning, Michael was communicative and patient as we worked to figure out the ambiance we wanted to create for our wedding. We had a few calls in the months leading up, and he was very helpful. It was unexpectedly cold on the day of our outdoor wedding, but Michael soldiered through, even taking off his sweatshirt to make sure he looked professional in his tie (he didn't need to, but it was much appreciated!). He played for both the ceremony and the cocktail hour following, and moved between the spaces seamlessly, even with his equipment. For any event where you want the smooth sounds of the acoustic guitar, we strongly recommend Michael!
