Mary was wonderful from start to finish. She was a huge help when it came to suggesting songs and transitions for various parts of my wedding ceremony. The music was beautiful! She reached out early, checked back as my wedding got closer, and made sure to confirm the day before. While I only had a brief moment to shake her hand, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mary to ANYONE!

Mary King was exactly what I needed to make my grandaughter's christening reception so very special. I hired Mary as a surprise to my daughter and son-in-law. Through our discussions on the phone Mary was extremely accommodating, ensuring that just the right music would be played during the afternoon. The beautiful music filled the room and created a wonderful feeling of bliss just perfect for welcoming a new baby into God's family. The cost was very fair and Mary drove many miles to make this event. Mary arrived EARLY and played continuously throughout the afternoon. Even after almost all the guests had left she was still playing! We LOVED it! Thanks Mary!!!

Mary was wonderful to work with! She was very helpful offering many suggestions regarding selection of songs when we conferred by phone. Mary came early, played while our guests arrived and then moved to the wedding ceremony site. The music was lovely and our guests were very impressed. She even invited our grandchildren to play her harp. Mary seemed as excited about our daughter's special day as we were. We could not have been more pleased, and would invite her again for an appropriate occasion.

I was searching for someone to come play the fiddle and to teach some step dancing for my daughter's 5th birthday party. Mary King responded with such a genuine interest in coming to create a great time for my daughter and her friends that I knew right away we were in for a treat! Mary had a way about her that made me feel at ease working with her, and we found her to be the perfect mix of professional and personal. She was very gracious and easy going--and she brought a smile with her music that gave our birthday girl a fiddle/dance party she will never forget! :) She comes with our highest recommendation!

Mary played her beautiful harp and sang quietly at my mother's wake. Mary was extremely compassionate while we were making the plans. She could not have been more accommodating to our needs during a very stressful time. She arrived early, set up and played the entire 3 hours. She was so professional, that we would not have known she was there except for the heavenly music that was playing. Her talent is exceptional. The music that she played was soothing and uplifting. I would highly recommend hiring Mary for the wake or funeral of your loved one. She is very affordable and will bring an atmosphere of peace to a sad time.

Mary did an absolutely fantastic job at our wedding. I recommend her whole heartily without any reservation. She discussed our ceremony at length with me several times over the course of planning the wedding, and was so flexible about what music would be played and helpful in guiding me towards what would work best. I trusted her judgement on all of the music selections and they all just sounded so wonderful. She arrived much earlier than guests did to set up, and even played after all the guests left while we took formal shots. I cannot express how much her music added to the atmosphere of our ceremony, and many guests told me how much they loved her music.

Mary played harp for our wedding ceremony at the Hyatt Lighthouse on Goat Island, Newport, RI. It was amazing - She was amazing! She was very easy to get ahold of and discuss the playlist for the wedding - she emailed me suggestions and followed up with me to confirm. She played while guests were arriving and being seated, played for wedding party and my entrance and again while guests exited after the ceremony. It was a beautiful touch to the ceremony. Mary was a delightful performer for my small wedding. She arrived on time, and her presence and humor was much appreciated, down to her magical green aloha slippers!
I would highly recommend her if you want your wedding music to be special and to enjoy a talented musician. She played a few seasonal tunes that I requested that are not commonly played in the United States, and she played them well.
