We had a wonderful experience with Monika. Monika was very professional in every aspect of our conversations and communications. Monika has the capacity of merging herself into the atmosphere to becoming part of the event and not an "extra". Her playing is soothing and her training is exceptional.

Very friendly and easy to communicate with, but quite a few performance errors, even in pieces already within repertoire. A bit rushed to get started on time. We were surprised that she had to re-tune several times during a 30 minute ceremony (not sure if this is common practice).

The bride's father and many guests were very complimentary which is why your review comes as a surprise.
The contract you signed states that the prelude was at 6:00 and wedding 6:30. You can imagine my surprise when the groom asked me to begin playing at 5:45, as the wedding was to begin at 6:00. This oversight on your part caused me to rush without adequate warm up or tuning time. I also played a CHORAL and LUTE piece arranged poorly for harp, and re-written by me to make it even playable on harp.
I hope that you will reconsider your comments on Gigmasters in light of your contractual error, and efforts that were made to accommodate your unusual requests.

Monika was great! She was very accommodating and flexible and easy to work with. Once our tasting started she was wonderful as a harpist and everyone enjoyed her presence at the event.

Monika made our small wedding (early June 2019, at Tudor Place in Washington DC) extra special with her beautiful harp music! From booking to day-of, Monika clearly communicated everything with us and was wonderful to work with. She helped us select our songs, and even learned a few songs outside of her repertoire to play at our wedding, which was fantastic. Everyone loved her, and we are so happy that Tudor Place recommended her to us. We would definitely recommend Monika to others looking for a musician/harpist for their wedding!!
