I had been working with Shelley over the phone and through email months before the wedding. She was very nice and happy to learn new music choses that we had selected for our ceremony. I wanted some songs that were new this summer and Shelley learned how to play them and did a wonderful job! It was beautiful and elegant and exactly what I had wanted. Even my uncle who doesn't normally give compliments said he enjoyed the harpist and violinist very much. They were one of his favorite parts of the wedding. He especially appreciated that they played a couple of Italian songs :-). Thank you Shelley, you were great!!

Shelley was amazing, she was so professional and accommodating from the planning all the way through to the performance. She was punctual, open minded about song selection and extremely talented on the harp. I would highly recommend her to anyone planning a special event. So many guests commented on how elegant and beautiful the music was and how she added to the ambience of our cocktail hour.

Shelley Otis was a wonderful addition to our wedding in September at Rocky Neck State Park in Connecticut. We were able to hand pick harp music that we wanted for our ceremony and loved that we had a diverse choice of songs and genres. She has a very informative website where you can listen to her incredible music. She was very kind, accommodating, and professional. Her music was one of our favorite parts of the day. It added such a wonderful atmosphere. We did not have a microphone for our officiant and she lent her portable amplifier to him, saving the day. We would HIGHLY recommend her. Absolutely delightful.

We hired Shelley Otis for our wedding's reception and cocktail hour. She was extremely professional was already familiar with our venue, Linden Place (Bristol, Rhode Island). Having the capability of being able to play both harp AND piano was part of the reason that we hired Shelley. She was accommodating to our special request of having her accompany a vocalist. Shelley learned a few new songs for our ceremony and our guests commented on her elegance and wonderful musicianship. Her communication via e-mail was both prompt and courteous. The variety of songs on her song list (jazz standards, classical, Disney, Led Zeppelin) makes Shelley a great choice for any event!

Shelly played the harp at a comittal service forr my mother. She is a stand alone performer with great talent and poise. I contacted her several months prior to our scheduled event and she complied with all my requests.

Shelley was terrific! She was professional and very accommodating. I wanted harp background music during the dinner at my daughter's wedding. She had a varied and extensive playlist and performed our many requests beautifully. Her flexibility and ease at the wedding was truly appreciated, since one never knows the exact start and finish time.

Where do I begin? I booked Shelley to play harp at my wedding ceremony several months in advance. We started emailing back and forth and had an inperson meeting where Shelley played songs for us to hear. The music was absolutely beautiful and the harp was magical, calming and heavenly. I can't thank Shelley enough for the countless emails I sent her with various requests ranging from getting her opinion to sending samples of music (I lived 3 states away from her). She was SO easy to work with. I so highly recommend Shelley, don't look any further!!!

Shelley performed for our wedding ceremony, we met a few months previous to our date to discuss music, we had to switch ceremony site at the last minute due to the weather, Shelley was extremely accommodating, she has an amazing talent, she is so sweet & professional. Shelley was wonderful to work with. She had a personal meeting with us prior to hiring her for our wedding. She was able to play any song we had requested, and she is amazingly talented. We had Shelley play at both our Church ceremony and at our cocktail hour. She played both the organ and Harp, and it was nothing short of beautiful. She was very proactive, going to the reception site prior to become comfortable with her surroundings, and to make sure everything would be perfect for her setup for cocktail hour. She was very responsive and offered many great suggestions for music at appropriate times during the Mass. I highly recommend Shelley!!

Without any reservation, I would certainly recommend Shelley for any event! Shelley played for our wedding ceremony outdoors in Newport Rhode Island and our guests are still talking about how great she was.
