Winifred is incredibly talented and easy to work with. Since being a flower gir in a wedding with strings, it has been my dream to have the same for my own wedding some day. I found Winifred and fell in love with the idea of having a harpist - & truly making my strings a UNIQUE feature of my wedding. I also requested adding a violinist, and she was more than happy to accommodate. A number of carefully planned details went awry on the day, but Winifred was PERFECT. She followed the music plan (a detailed pre-event form) to the letter and was just such a pleasure to work with. Bonus: the music was SO calming while I took pre-ceremony pictures! She's worth every penny!!

During my daughter's wedding, Winifred Garrett played her harp masterfully. Four months before the wedding, we spoke about the repertoire for the wedding, and based on that initial conversation, I knew that Winifred was professional, knowledgeable about music, personable, and a joy to work with. To prepare for the the day, Winifred learned new pieces, accompanied the soloist, and played her harp beautifully which added so much to the tone and elegance of the wedding. My husband noted that one of our friends, a world renowned Cellist who attended the wedding, commented in the superlative on the quality and skill of Winifred Garrett. We were thrilled to have her.

Winifred Garrett played the harp with class. I was glad I chose her to play for my wedding on June 21, 2014 in Bethel, NC. When I finally spoke with her, she was easy to talk to and very professional. We went over the songs selected and she had no problem playing any of them. I plan to call on her again for a future event. I highly recommend Winifred Garrett for any special occasion.

She was amazing! Although I honestly only remember hearing her play up until I stepped out on the porch and got my first glimpse of my husband-to-be...after that, I didn't hear or see anything else! She made our day very special and we are forever grateful!

Even though I did not get to spend time with Ms. Garrette, I did get to meet here and walked down the isle to her music, everyone gave her rave reviews. Her professionalism was to say the least, superior to anything we have encountered. She was my favorite part to our wedding:). I could not have had a more perfect musician for our event. I have used this musician more than once; she is excellent. Many wedding attendees commented on her talent. I have found her to be professional and offered a varied genre of music from which to choose and was very punctual. I like her calm and approachable demeanor. I would highly recommend her to others. The 4.5 rating should have been a (5). Somehow I could not correct this error. Note: I rate her with all 5's.

Vendor cancelled one week before my wedding because she had another gig. She gave me a couple of names, one which eventually panned out. However, this caused tremendous stress and a HUGE loss of time as I scrambled to find back up plans.

Absolutely thrilled with the entire experience with Winifred. From initial contact to when our evening came to a close Winifred was phenomenal. Comments from our group were all so appreciative of the pleasant peaceful start to the Christmas season with Winifred's beautiful performance and her interaction with the group. A virtual party was a success largely due to the talent of Winifred. Highly recommend Winifred!

I booked Winifred as the ceremony musician for my wedding at the Duke Gardens. Although I did not get a chance to talk to her in person, it was such a pleasure working with her. She always responded to emails promptly and carefully answered any questions I had. She's very talented and is very accommodating in terms of the song selections. I would highly recommend her!

This is the second time I've had the pleasure of appreciating Ms. Garrett's talent. Her expertise is apparent from the very first song. She is the consummate professional; her music fills the room and is so soothing. Her repertoire is expansive, and she excels in her ability to "read a room" and adjust her music accordingly. I felt very comfortable leaving the choice of music to her. Everyone at my event thoroughly enjoyed her, and I would not hesitate to hire her again!
