Meki's Tamure Polynesian Arts Group was fantastic! Meki and Kandi were great to work with. They were engaging, knowledgeable and fun, teaching our high school dancers about Hawaiian and Tahitian dancing, drumming and history. The live music was a plus! We hope to work with them again in the future.

Meki and Kandi shared their time and talents with the students of Anne Arundel County’s Middle School Dance Showcase. They interacted with our dancers over 3 sessions, sharing their knowledge, talent and skills in Hawaiian and Tahitian dance and music. Kandi was an engaging and energetic instructor who made the dancers feel at ease and encouraged them to explore new dance styles. Meki is a talented musician. His live music and singing made the afternoon an authentic experience for everyone! We hope to have them back again next year!

We love having Meki's Tamure at the MD Public High School Dance Showcase! Kaitlyn has attended for the past three years and the dancers love taking this class- whether it is for the first time or repeating it! They loved learning the differences between the islands along with hearing the live accompaniment. Meki's Tamure taught over 50 students across 4 high schools from different regions of the state! Both the students and the teachers from their schools loved this session!

Meki's Tamure was wonderful in teaching our dancers! Kaitlyn has been a master teacher at the event for the past three years, bringing a cultural experience into our dance showcase. In this session, Kaitlyn taught 65 dancers from 4 different high schools two dances from Hawaii and Tahiti. The dancers were focused and had a great and memorable time!

Meki's Tamure have been performing at The Orthodox Church of St. Matthew's Multicultural Festival for 15 years. They are a huge draw and one of our best performing acts. They are fun, professional, creative and overall excellent and very entertaining. They also always have an audience participation segment where they invite audience members to the stage to learn how to hula dance. I would definitely recommend them very highly.

Meki's Tamure Polynesian Arts Group is fantastic. Great communication and accommodating for our events. We especially enjoyed the education part of the dancing and learning about the different Polynesian Islands. The dancing is amazing and the Fire Dance was incredible.
