I was very pleased with The Standards Jazz. Overall, the group was perfect for our company Christmas party. We requested that they play some Christmas music for the evening, and they were very accommodating to our request. The group was incredibly talented while also being the most reasonably priced option we could find. I cannot recommend them enough; they were an absolute pleasure to listen to and work with to make our event a memorable one. I will certainly look into hiring them again for any events we may hold in the future.

We hired The Standards Jazz to play for our our "Jazz Brunch Boil" the day after our wedding and could not be happier. Jim and the band really made the whole event and our guests loved their performance - we continue to get compliments on how talented they were and how enjoyable the event was. Jim was also super relaxed and easy to coordinate with - I of course was overwhelmed with hosting all of our friends and family and these guys just had it all covered, set up, did their thing so all of us could have a great time without any worries! Would highly recommend The Standards Jazz :)

The Standards are a really great jazz group. We hired them for my Mom's 80th birthday and they played every decade of jazz for all of the guests. They opened with some smooth jazz for the cocktail hour and then quiet dinner music. They arrived early to set-up and coordinated with the club manager so that they were ready to go before the guests started to arrive. They brought extra lights to play at night and a wireless Bluetooth speaker to pipe outside. Their pricing was very fair. I would highly recommend them. Great musicians.

This was hands down the best band we could have asked for our wedding reception!! Best decision ever!! They were professional, so incredibly talented, and made the whole place light up. We have had nothing but nonstop compliments and wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again the first chance we get!

I would recommend The Standards Jazz for any event you have planned. They played at my mom’s memorial celebration in Lake City, SC at The Inn at The Crossroads. My Mom had wanted a Jazz band celebration on her passing and she would be very pleased. They are the best band I have heard at any event I have been. I would recommend them for any wedding, or corporate event you have planned. They will communicate with you by email or phone to reassure you the time they will be at the event and ask about any music selections you would like. Jim, thank you for making our our mother’s end of life such a joyous celebration.

The Standards Jazz delivered an incredible performance at Habitat for Humanity's 3rd Annual Gala. The group did a marvelous job elevating the event with the beautifully played jazz. We look forward to having them again next year. Excellent job gentleman!

I had The Standards play at my private party last night. We all had a wonderful time. The band was just perfect. They arrived on time, and provided us with the perfect backdrop to our celebration. The music was just top shelf. The selection of songs flowed well, and the volume was perfect, not too loud, but clear for all to hear. These guys are some of the best musicians I have ever heard. I had the opportunity to talk with them during a break and had a delightful conversation with their bass player. He was fascinating. He was from New York City and actually played for Annie! on Broadway for several years. I endorse this group without reservation.

One of the nicest guys I have worked with. From the start of the first communication, to the last note played, these guys handled themselves with a professionalism that is rarely seen. They were polite, they immediately returned phone calls for questions, and last but not least: they are a great caliber musicians. If you are contemplating hiring this group...I highly encourage you to hire them. If I could I would give them 11 stars!
