She has a wide range of songs in her head, and we had a good time. We did not offer a good enough piano. Have to see about that. Thanks

talented, but music could have been more passionate and exciting

The client initially gave a list of 48 songs that she wanted played for a 2, possibly 2 1/2 hour job in the order in which she wanted them played.
The evening before the job she sent a list of 26 songs for definite performance before any others, 12 slow and 14 up tempo. Trying to please the client, I played them all despite my feelings that there were too many slow tunes.
This client should have respected a musician's professionalism and experience. If I had artistic leeway in this case, I would have instinctively included more up tempo tunes for a more "passionate and exciting" performance. Unfortunately, I was not given the opportunity.
