B.D. lenz is a great talent , not only did this guy play amazing jazz w his band they were there well before I even showed up early and was the most professional band I have hired in years.
I was an A&R guy back in the 90s and this guy is a GREAT TALENT . If i was still at a record label I would sign him big time.

Everything about my experience with B.D.'s group speaks to their talent and professionalism. Communication with B.D. in advance of the party was easy and he was always incredibly pleasant, responsive and professional. The band showed up on time, set up and was ready to go before any of the guests arrived. The quality of their performance was perhaps most impressive of all. I hired B.D. with 2 additional musicians and their three piece group provided the sound of a 5 piece band. They were great. Read the room at different stages of the party and performed the right music at the right time. I'm incredibly pleased with them and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

We had originally planned to hire BD Lenz for a one hour event, and due to high security regulations and clearance for our site, which included numerous correspondence, we made BD Lenz miserable (they never said a word; we assumed because we are considered to be "clients from hell"). They complied with every single demand we made and provided such an impeccable customer care to our international organization, we had no choice but to book them for the entire 4 hour event. BD Lenz's performance was off the chart and at the end of everything, we were left speechless with a single word; WOW!!! We highly recommend BD Lenz for all your musical events... You guys Rock!!!

B.D. Lenz played at our wedding at City Winery in NYC, and were truly instrumental in making the evening an unforgettable one. Planning a wedding can be a bit stressful, but B.D. was so incredibly easy to work with and accommodating- it was a pleasure. All of the band members are extremely talented and you just can't help but dance the entire time they are playing. We had musician friends as guests of the wedding, and they were equally impressed. It's now the day after the wedding and we are already thinking of another party we can throw just to see them perform again! They are the best.

BD Lenz and his six piece band played our wedding reception and the jazz trio played our cocktail hour- and we couldn't be happier! Leading up to the event, BD spent time with us via email and skype to go over all the details. They learned two songs for us, and they rocked it! The dance floor was packed the whole night. Our guests even cheered for an encore- and they played one more song! (which I've never seen happen at a wedding before!) We got many, many compliments from guests that it was the best wedding band they have ever seen. My husband and I are both live music fans, and we felt like we were at our own private concert. This band made our wedding awesome!

BD Lenz was the absolute perfect wedding band for us. They were easy to work with, extremely accommodating, and just an unbelievable group of musicians. BD was easily reachable via phone/email leading up to the day, and was completely professional throughout. They really knew how to keep people up dancing all night and even allowed me to come up and play a song with my old band. BD stayed up and played some lead guitar, just such an awesome experience. Music is so important to my wife and I, and there's no better band we could think of to play on our day. Please, please, please hire this band. You won't be sorry!!!

The musicians were great and the professionalism was the best. They are the best and you should definitely hire this band for your wedding.
I am the strictest reviewer so two out of the five criteria's I gave them 4.5 stars, but trust me this the highest grade you will get from me. So that is near perfect.
I doubt you will find any other band out there that will beat this band for your wedding. And you will know that this is a real review, because I didn’t give him all 5's.
B.D. Lenz is very professional and he will return your calls and emails.
I am very hard to please and his band's performance and service was excellent and he delivered.

We booked B.D. and his band for our wedding and they were fantastic! B.D. Played acoustic guitar for our ceremony then the entire jazz band played for our cocktail hour and reception. Our first dance song was so special and they made the entire night one to remember! They were able to play a great mixture of jazz and pop music & took requests from the guests too. Highly recommend!!!

B.D. Lenz was phenomenal! We hired them for our wedding reception and could not have been happier. They were willing to play music during their breaks we wanted, they sang our first dance song, announced our bridal party, and us, and even played one of my favorite songs for me. Our guests had a wonderful time and are still raving about the band. They were always quick to reply to emails and even though we are a ways apart I never felt stressed because they always answered any questions we had. B.D. gets fives primarily for being accessible, accomodating, and professional prior to and after the event. Not to knock the talent because that's why you hire a band, but let me explain. The band was good. I had no problem with any of that, but you're in the midst of a crazy day, that's not what is important. So much going on, I couldn't listen much. So, yes they were good, but the biggest testament for people having a wedding, is that they didn't need anything, ask anything, or cause any problems. Just did what you hired them to do. GREAT! Also, the only vendor to send an email after the fact saying congrats. Thanks.
