My husband requesdted a blues/jazz band for his 60th birthday party so I started searching on-line. I read several reviews and e-mailed BD Lenz. He immediately returned my e-mail and I immediately felt comfortable. My husband call BD and discussed the music the band would be playing and I must say, we were not disappointed! I highly recommend BD Lenz.

B.D.Benz preformed on 12/14/2007 at my christmas party and they were great. Everything about the band was awesome, singer, sound, etc was great. I look forward to booking them for my next christmas party. They played at the right level and the talent was great. I would recommend them to my friends and business associates. Marisol New Jersey

BD and his band did a FANTASTIC job at our wedding! Not only did they play the cocktail hour and the reception but BD even played for my ceremony with a week's notice after my pianist flaked out on me. He was a life saver to say the least! I highly recommend him for your event - extremely professional and accomodating. I can't give enough praise. Their music got our people up and dancing and everyone had a great time!

B.D. Lenz and his trio were outstanding -- really perfect!!! They set the mood for our party (a dinner for 150 professors within an academic conference) and made it relaxing, cool and classy. B.D. knew how to play at exactly the volume needed to create this atmosphere without drowning guests' conversations. Several of our guests were musicians themselves and commented on their quality and outstanding musical talent. I am certain we will hire them again and again (until he becomes too famous for us to afford). Do not hesitate to hire B.D. Lenz -- he and his colleagues will help make your event perfect.

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and BD Lenz' band played an integral part! They are an exceptionally talented, detail-oriented, highly professional group. BD himself was an absolute pleasure with whom to work-- all of my communication throughout the process was with him directly, and he really listened to our unique needs and surpassed every expectation! BD's music earned countless compliments from our guests. Were we to do it all over again, there's no one we'd rather have than BD Lenz-- the fond memories of that day, which they helped to create, are ones that will last us a lifetime!

b.d. and his ensemble arrived early and were set up well before our event began. They were professional, performed beautifully. They mixed up their music selections well. We had requested that they come prepared to do a set of hora music lasting about 18 to 20 minutes which they did with great spirit. When anyone asked them to modify their music either by tone or actually, any request, was met with a smile and totally implemented. We could not have been happier with our selection of musicians and we could not recommend bd any higher or more enthusiastically. Anyone who books his group will be equally pleased. It isn't often that someone recieves a perfect rating, especially from someone like me. I have been in the hospitality industry off and on for about 13 years, and in that time I have worked 50-60 weddings. That being said, I feel very confident in saying that BD Lenz and his crew were by far the best that I have seen. They are all extremely talented musicians and very versitile as well. For the cocktail hour they excecuted a perfect jazz set that matched the mood. During the reception, they cranked it up with tunes ranging from classic rock to hard funk. As for all of you out there still in question, the band worked the room, pleasing the masses with ages ranging from 5 to 89. I have to say that I could not have been happier with these guys. In respect to accommodating, they were incredible. Now I'm sure they wanted to kill me, they were actually able arranged the father/daughter and mother/son dance with one weeks notice. This is a very professional crew and if you want to have a band that can do it all, check out B.D. Lenz, because through my experience, they are simply unparalleled.

Hi, When my husband and I hired B.D Lenz for our wedding reception, we had hoped they would be a good band, what we got was an outstanding group of very talented musicians. The level of professionalism was beyond our expectations. We had asked them to learn music from a favorite jazz artist, (cellar funk) and they exceded our expectations again in learning these difficult pieces. Our guests are still talking about the awesome group we had play at our wedding. B.D. Lenz is both sophisticated and fun, his band had the whole party jumpin' all night. We plan on calling him again... and again for up-comming events. I would highly recommend this band for those of you who appriciate great jazz fusion and/or instrumental music.
